XYZ and When We Dip present the Selectors series, where we give our family of producers an opportunity to display their prowess behind the decks. Expect unreleased material from across the label collective, as well as classic gems and heady grooves from some of the undergrounds finest heads.

Pedro Capelossi is becoming an essential pillar of TOR. With a knack for capturing timeless vibes alongside innovative melodies, the Brazilian is making some of the best music we've released on TOR thus far. His two EPs touch upon classic-feeling instrumentals with heady understated groove. As we gear up for another release from Pedro on our Tales of Romance series, he gives us a sense of his prowess behind the decks on the latest Selectors.

Flux is the presence of a force field in a specified physical medium, or the flow of energy through a surface. Flux is present in all fields, in all disciplines. Observable almost everywhere - it can be both a vector or a scalar quantity.

We are all in flux, in flow; moving forward, through obstacles. We overcome and we push through. Regardless of what's in front of us, we must move past it.

This is a mix of flow, a story with no boundaries. A sonic tale of flux, which doesn't follow a set path. This set has no playlist, the mood of the present sets what is next.

“In the Wild (Tombstone Remix)” takes the reflective, open-hearted tone of the original track and transforms it into something bolder — a gritty, cinematic reimagining that walks the line between raw energy and controlled chaos. Where the original might have explored nature and freedom through serenity, this remix roars through the wilderness with pulse and purpose.

Right from the start, the Tombstone Remix establishes a mood of rugged vitality. A darker bassline rumbles beneath crisp, metallic percussion, conjuring images of vast deserts, ghost towns, and the enduring spirit of survival. The rhythm drives forward with swagger — there’s a sense of movement, of pushing against the elements. Yet Archer 23 doesn’t abandon the song’s emotional essence; traces of the original’s melodic DNA remain, like bones beneath new skin.

The production is taut and deliberate. Echoing synths and reverberating drums give the track cinematic depth, while subtle ambient textures maintain a sense of atmosphere. It’s as though Archer 23 has recast the story of In the Wild in a harder, more defiant light — transforming introspection into endurance.

By its close, “In the Wild (Tombstone Remix)” feels like a journey through shadow and dust, ending not in triumph or defeat, but in self-assured calm — the kind that comes from facing the world unflinchingly.
