It's been a minute?! Our latest Krabcast comes from one of our new Australian residents and Krab label legend Harry Sarin. 

A new year and a new Krabcast look, after the re-brand earlier this year. We now focus our effortson all things house, photography and art. 

This latest mix was recorded live at our first exhibition style event "Evolve". Harry sets the warm up tones with deep grooves, funky house licks and swingy tech house.

Welcome back to the Wax Museum, an all vinyl homage to electronic music's past and present.

For episode 8 we will be taking a trip down memory lane to the late 90s and early 2000s nu skool/progressive breaks sound. Breakbeat has always been a personal favorite of mine and in my opinion, this era of the sound has yet to be matched. Tracks from Bushwacka!, Plump DJs, PMT, Stanton Warriors, Peace Division and many others. 

Apologies for the feedback in a few spots, I was having some needle issues when recording. Enjoy!

Going through a bit of a Drum & Bass and Jungle renaissance recently, filling in some gaps.
Wondering when and if I'd get a chance to play these records out and the slot at Field Maneuvers was the perfect place to give them an airing.

1991 - A time when some of us had not even been born yet or were too young to comprehend the vast galaxy of electronic music. 100hz by this point had already put out their self-released 12” ‘Low Frequency Overload’ and their follow up ‘Catching Spiders’ seems to have not aged a day in the 30 years since it came out. We are not sure how this is possible but we are sure it has something to do with magic.
