SUDS  Episode – Can you motorboat in space? We decided to tackle a space themed flight of beer, that went full anti-gravity around the :06 mark. “Space tastes a bit like diabetes” – Caperton as we sling him into space. Quite possibly the worst words ever coming from Sean-“ Cinnamon and Vanilla beans are OK.“ What would David Bowie drink in space?  We taste and rate the following beer from 1-5: 
8:18	Wicked Nebula New England style IPA with Citra, Amarillo, Mosaic and Falconer’s Flight hops.  6.5% ABV Gravity Brewing, Louisville, CO  SUDS-4
16:16	Space Kilt Wee Heavy scotch ale brewed with UK Marris Otter and a hint of smoked/peat malt.  6.7% ABV Gravity Brewing Louisville, CO  SUDS-4
27:59	Batch #4 (For David Bowie) Hoppy Farmhouse Style Ale – brewed with Pilsner malt, raw wheat, rye, oats, spelt, Columbus, Centennial, Comet, and Citra hops. 6.8% ABV Zebulon Artisan Ales Weaverville, NC  SUDS-4
36:43	The Event Horizon – Black IPA Brewed with a blend of Amarillo, Idaho 7, and Sabro hops.  5% ABV  Launch Pad Brewery Aurora, CO  SUDS-4

Back to my roots this time playing a very progressive set

Progressive 2022

Intro

As with most aspiring DJs, Higgins began his journey into sound by hanging around record shops, eager to buy the latest 12"s. As his collection grew, he began to develop his own style and technique, and was often found travelling the length of the country handing out mixtapes at clubs and events, pretty much the normal way of doing things before the internet was born.

This hard work eventually paid off as he was offered a residency at "The Edge" in Sheffield, with a chance to play alongside rave heavyweights Grooverider, Mickey Finn, DJ SS and Hype, to name a few.

There was something missing though, he needed a fresh challenge and direction. It came along in the form of brand new music from Oakenfold, BT, Blue Amazon, Paul Van Dyk, and most importantly... Sasha & Digweed. Their musical selections and mixing style blew him away, and he knew that was where he was headed.

Resident at UCAP, one of Manchester's leading club nights. Bringing world class DJs into a personal and intimate club space, Higgins has warmed up for Danny Howells, Nick Muir, Jody Wisternoff, Robert Babicz, Quivver and Elke Kleijn amongst others.

Fast forward to the present day,  Higgins now head of Secluded Events Worldwide/Secluded Records, a brand dedicated to bringing small, secluded stylish events to discerning clubbers around the world..

A music/audio mixer based in NYC, Mike Jenkins has gained vast experience from a lifetime of work in entertainment. After obtaining employment at NYC radio station WBLS-FM as a production engineer he remixed many songs that rotated in regular airplay including the Naughty By Nature hit O.P.P. earning him double platinum status. Recognized for being a DJ, he accepted two weekly WBLS mix shows. He decided to mix them live, as well as mix a weekly live show on WUSB-FM.

His love of music and audio expanded into mixing sound for live concerts, even touring the globe mixing shows for many well known recording artists. For 10+ years he supervised the sound department at the Apollo Theater. He's currently contracted by Radio City Music Hall. For the past 20+ years he has mixed many live concerts and events including the Christmas Show.

Finding a stash of tape recordings in his storage, he plans on a weekly release. Inspired, he will create and release newer mixes soon.
