Label boss Mark Knight is back on Toolroom Trax with Vol. 7 of his legendary Bullets EP series, and this time he’s armed with three brand new club weapons.

The Bullets EP is always a statement release with each edition seeing Mark teaming up with artists who truly inspire him, shape the sound of Toolroom Trax and continuously fuel his sets with high energy club material. Every collab feels organic, natural, and 100% authentic.

First up, Mark links with Saliva Commandos, the New York-based IN:COMMAND boss known for his signature percussive house grooves. Saliva’s been a go-to in Mark’s sets for a while now, so it’s only right to finally welcome him officially to the label. Now it wouldn’t be a Bullets EP without James Hurr. Mark’s longtime studio partner returns for their 10th official collaboration, and you can feel their chemistry all over this record. And to round off the EP is a collab with Spanish powerhouse Dario Nunez. A firm favourite in Mark’s sets and a driving force behind that chunky Toolroom Trax sound this year and the label’s been backing him hard in 2025.

Hypetraxx - The Darkside (Indecent Noise Private Mix) [2024] [FREE DOWNLOAD]

Alright, I have attempted creating or mixing "Dutch Style" electro house several times and have come up short. However, I think I finally got it down with this track. This track is essentially a "dirty dutch" electro house track fused with tech house. Bass-heavy, beat-driven, pitch-bent leads, dembow beat, you name it. 

The transitions are a lot more subtle and "lowkey" than they normally are when I attempt this genre because it simply hasn't worked out for me every time I've attempted it. I also think it keeps the groove and dark vibe of the track consistent. The drops in this track are more or less "half-drops" and more transitional. Ditto with the fills, some of which are purposefully offbeat to grab one's attention. 


This track was composed and produced in Ableton Live 12.3 Suite using a mix of stock plugins, heavily warped and modified samples + resamples, microedits, Serum 2, and OTT.

This track was composed in Ableton Live 12.3 Suite using a combination of stock Ableton instruments, Xfer Records Serum 2, Xfer Records OTT, and some sampling + re-sampling + microedits.
