When The Roses Lose Their Bloom

I started out with the idea of Winter as a spirit, but decided to just make it a ghost and the cold air and landscape is more or less a metaphorical  atmosphere. This is much more ambient than our other songs.

What do you think?  Have we gone off the deep end?  Too ambient?

The roses lose their bloom
As autumn marches in
And bare become the branches
From the cold foreboding wind

And she rises with the moon
Like a wave upon the shore
A spector from the dark
Frozen to the core

Ice will meet the stone
Along the riverbed
And crystallize the air
Where her lonely spirit treads

When the stars begin to fade
And the moon is in retreat
Silently she cries
On the cold deserted street

To where her spirit dwells
