I met Bobby when he was twelve. He had just been released from jail and a friend had invited him to our junior youth group. Over the next 3 wild and wonderful years I would get to know his family and friends and during that time I wrote this song for him. On September 2, 1994, at the age of 15, Bobby passed away after a tragic bike accident and I officiated his funeral. Hard to believe he's been gone 21 years. But I truly believe that one day I will see him again.

*This is one of the few pictures I took of Bobby over the 3 years I knew him from a youth group trip to Kingdom Bound @ Darien Lake Theme Park.

A gifted teacher, Rhythms Talk is a singularly unique concept Nash created to help students, at any level, learn how to create their own musical voice, stressing the aspect that music is a language.
