أيها السيد الرب الإله ضابط الكل، الذي أرسل ابنه الوحيد إلى العالم. وعلمنا الناموس والوصايا المكتوبة في الإنجيل المقدس.
وعلمنا أن الصوم والصلاة هما اللذان يخرجان الشياطين، إذ قال: إن هذا الجنس لا يخرج بشيء إلا بالصلاة والصوم.
الصوم والصلاة هما اللذان رفعا إيليا إلى السماء، وخلصا دانيال من جب الأسود.
الصوم والصلاة هما اللذان عمل بهما موسى، حتى أخذ الناموس والوصايا المكتوبة بأصبع الله.
الصوم والصلاة هما اللذان عمل بهما أهل نينوى، فرحمهم الله، وغفر لهم خطاياهم، ورفع غضبه عنهم.
الصوم والصلاة هما اللذان عمل بهم الأنبياء، وتنبأوا من أجل مجيء المسيح قبل مجيئه بأجيال كثيرة
الصوم والصلاة هما اللذان عمل بهم الرسل، وبشروا في جميع الأمم، وصيروهم مسيحيين، وعمدوهم باسم الآب والابن والروح القدس
الصوم والصلاة هما اللذان عمل بهما الشهداء، حتى سفكوا دماءهم من أجل اسم المسيح، الذي اعترف الاعتراف الحسن أمام بيلاطس البنطي.
الصوم والصلاة هما اللذان عمل بهما الأبرار والصديقون ولباس الصليب، وسكنوا في الجبال والبراري وشقوق الأرض، من أجل عظم محبتهم في الملك المسيح.
ونحن أيضا فلنصم عن كل شر بطهارة وبر، ونتقدم إلى هذه الذبيحة المقدسة ونتناول منها بشكر. لكي بقلب طاهر، ونفس مستنيرة، ووجه غير مخزي، وإيمان بلا رياء، ومحبة كاملة، ورجاء ثابت
نجسر بدالة بغير خوف، أن ندعوك يا الله الآب القدوس الذي في السموات، ونقول "يا أبانا..."

Let Us Praise The Lord (Asomen)

“Father God” is a song about man’s fallen state and his subsequent realization of the indescribable goodness of a new life with God and the change it brought about. This new life, in which man comes to understand and appreciate his full purpose and potential, is established through the Holy Sacrament of Baptism in the Name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. The use of “managed” here does not imply our ability to exist, survive, or endure without Existence and Life Himself. Instead, it is an emphatic proclamation of man’s acknowledgement of his dire need for, yet unworthiness of, salvation.

“Resurrection” tries to convey the reality of our victory over weakness, sin, and death through the power of our Lord Jesus Christ’s resurrection. Amid life’s struggles and troughs, it can be easy to lose sight of this fact and how in His resurrection, we rise daily from the depths of the darkness that surrounds us. His resurrection is alive in us today—now, and for this reason the lyrics emphasize “gives” and “makes” in the present. By His death He abolished death, and in His resurrection we experience new life. We preach His resurrection when we shine as lights in His glorious triumph, and we await our final resurrection when we will be forever surrounded by and engulfed in this exuberant, incomprehensible glory.
