This is one of 3 compositions I'd started writing back in 2006. I took a master class with Michael Partington and was inspired to write for him. I never did share my compositions with him, mainly because I never finished some sections, but I did continue to work on them over the years.

3 Wines - I. Pinot Noir - For Solo Guitar

"Don't Draw The Line" was written and performed way back in 1992 with my college rock band. The audio quality stinks (it was an open air boombox bootleg recording to cassette tape somewhere out in the audience outdoors that I transferred to mp3), but listen to the whole thing so you don't miss the cool horn lines and instrumental bridge/solo section. This tune was heavily influenced by the style of Toto, so I sent this recording to some of the guys in Toto via Facebook to see what they thought. Steve Porcaro (keyboard player for Toto) responded and said, "Very cool Mike !! Love the bridge and the keyboard solo. You can definitely play !!" ©1992 by Mike Prigodich.

I was in a wedding band called The Michael Newmark Orchestra for 6 or 7 years when I lived in Chicagoland in the 90's. Here's our demo recorded at the now defunct Jor-Dan Studio (where Survivor recorded "Eye Of The Tiger" and other artists including Cheap Trick and The Grateful Dead did some recording work). I play most of the keyboards on this demo.
