Bio

Music was always a strong force in Hungarian born Norbi Szakács’s life from the time he was a child. He grew up listening primarily to Trance, later Progressive Melodic & Deep House, and is now also influenced by the breakbeat culture. Norbi always had a keen interest in how to transform one’s thoughts and innermost feelings into a musical form for others to appreciate.

In 2021, as many of us sought out new life paths, NorB realised the opportunity to explore music production for the first time, and in doing so he discovered an immediate passion. In connecting with established Toronto-based artist & vocalist juSt b, of whom he is an avid supporter, the two came together for an exquisite collaboration in the form of a dark, brooding debut 3-track EP entitled Different Places, featuring juSt b's original vocals.

After the release of this EP, NorB & juSt b then went on to have three new tracks featured on John Digweed's Quattro III compilation, and ended an amazing year as part of Bedrock's Best of 2022 Collection too.
Continuing this fruitful partnership with juSt b, there are new and exciting things coming soon, and in the near future, NorB's first solo EP will also be released.
