Calm "Futures of Yesterday's" Calling is a mash-up of the tracks from the Calm Callings EP and other tracks like 'Future of Yesterday' which is also a part of the album title. This album being like an extended version of the Calm Callings EP takes you on an adventure and escape for your body and mind leading you through trances and dreamscapes with its brightening and dark ambient soundscapes and distant airy sounding synths.

Enjoy a fair amount of songs that were inspired by some of Electronic Music's greats: Brian Eno, Christophe Franke, Edgar Froese, Jean Michel Jarre, Klaus Schulze, Kraftwerk, and so on just to name a few of my inspirations. Some may consider these tracks to be simplistic and minimal or complex and unpredictable at heart.

Calm "Futures of Yesterday's" Calling

I came up with this song back in 2010 when I was in my experimenting days. Varying from experimental rock to electronica and techno. This had to of been one of the funnest electronica/techno tracks I've created so far and as I thought highly of it after I made it. I think it just needs finishing touches here and there, though it is an enjoyable track and I hope you enjoy it as well.

This is an instrumental track that I came up with back in 2015 and decided on June 18th, 2020 to create an updated and more complete version of the concept. It is a part of a large selection of tracks that are related to an ongoing "work-in-progress" project nicknamed "Chaos Theory / After Chaos."

This is a theme that represents the people for the advertisement for "Chaos Theory," a mass-scale virtual version of Earth. With the public not aware of the future occurrence of Jupiter casting a shadow on Earth by blocking out the sun for parts of Earth. So, a solution needed to be made swiftly. So, a superior tech company came up with a virtual reality world they refer to as "Chaos Theory." So, to draw the public who will eventually be living in darkness and for part of humanity to not be driven mad, go into severe and hopeless depression by lack of sunlight, they must enter this pods that will sustain the lives of those who choose to enter them. Once they submit to the pods, their minds are satisfied by a . The question remains, "Will They Want to Leave Their Paradise and Return Back to Reality or Stay Virtually Content?"

(Welcome To) Chaos Theory (06-02-2020)

This is an instrumental track that I came up with back in October 19th, 2019. I came up with this concept while spending a weekend away with my wife at the time around the time we started dating. I wrote this song for the both of us and it represents the overall feelings we both were going through at the time in our lives. 

It is a part of a large selection of tracks that are related to an ongoing "work-in-progress" project nicknamed "Chaos Theory / After Chaos." 

A Brief Glimpse Into Chaos Theory / After Chaos Story So Far:

This is a theme focused on the male protagonist of the Chaos Theory / After Chaos story when they are at their unsure point in finding a purpose. They want to make a good change in the world and know they are destined to do great things, but they are feeling stuck. They are accompanied by a supporting female protagonist and they start to feel like they are not alone and that everything is going to be alright. They both are stargazing and enjoying the evening night sky.

This is an instrumental track that I created on May 27, 2020. It is part of a large selection of tracks related to an ongoing "work-in-progress" project, nicknamed "Chaos Theory / After Chaos."

This is a theme for the occurrence of the planet Jupiter moving gradually closer to Earth, and the miscalculations and misuse of the technology discovered by humanity to bring planets closer to Earth. With Jupiter being so massive in size compared to Earth, it will cast a shadow on Earth by blocking out the sun for parts of the Earth. So, a solution would need to be made quickly. A superior tech company developed a virtual reality world they refer to as "Chaos Theory," a massive-scale virtual representation of Earth. So, to draw the public who will eventually be living in darkness and to prevent part of humanity from being driven mad by severe and hopeless depression due to a lack of sunlight, they must enter these pods that will sustain the lives of those who choose to join them. Once they submit to the pods, their minds are satisfied by the incredible reimagining of the Earth, and they stay drawn and coerced into wanting to stay in the virtual reality simulation. This is a chase sequence happening in a virtual reality world known as "Chaos Theory" where a part of the world that is trapped in complete darkness by Jupiter's Shadow (Jupiter blocking out the sun), because of the technology "we" discovered to bring planets closer to us to improve upon space travel and to save travel time. To survive the darkness and for part of humanity to not be driven mad, go into severe and hopeless depression by lack of sunlight, they must enter pods that will sustain the lives of those who choose to enter them. Once they submit to the pods, their minds are satisfied by a mass-scale virtual version of Earth. The question remains, "Will They Want to Leave Their Paradise and Return Back to Reality or Stay Virtually Content?"

I started with the first riff you hear and elaborated more and more and came up with this song in just a few hours. I thought it deserved to be heard by many friendly ears.

"A Root Awakening Pt. III: Diving Deep Within" is a 2025 rewritten rendition of the track "Nature's Calling, Pt. III," created back in 2012 with the intention of making a set of tribute tracks, drawing inspiration from Jean-Michel Jarre's "Oxygene" and "Equinoxe" albums.

Sometimes when we start to dive deep within ourselves, we start to recognize the positives and negatives that make us who we are today and have gotten us to where we are today. Sometimes they can be beautiful, and sometimes they can be ugly and scary to the point that it can start to hurt, and repel us from diving deeper. The only way forward is within. How deep are you willing to go?

"A Root Awakening Pt. II: Wearing the Inside Out" is a 2025 rewritten rendition of the track "Nature's Calling, Pt. II," created back in 2012 with the intention of making a set of tribute tracks, drawing inspiration from Jean-Michel Jarre's "Oxygene" and "Equinoxe" albums.

As you begin your spiritual journey, many things that may or may not make sense start to rise to the surface from within you. We need to start to recognize who we truly are and what we falsify as "Wearing the Inside Out" - what we choose to wear on the outside, and not what our recognizable self is on the inside. Until we are truly honest with ourselves on who we are and what we need to overcome, both the knowns and unknowns, will we be able to truly ascend to our "authentic spiritual" level?

A Root Awakening, Pt. II: Wearing the Inside Out

The "A Root Awakening EP" is the first installment of a forthcoming full album that is currently in development. The second half will be released at a later date.

"A Root Awakening, Pt. I: Where Do I Belong?" is a 2025 rewritten rendition of the track "Nature's Calling, Pt. I," created back in 2012 with the intention of making a set of tribute tracks, drawing inspiration from Jean-Michel Jarre's "Oxygene" and "Equinoxe" albums.

Everyone bears the feeling and thought of "Where do I fit in and belong in this world and in this life?" Well, the journey towards the truth starts from within rather than from the outside. Anyone who has begun their spiritual journey of self-discovery would agree. This track represents that starting point and the beginning of that spiritual journey.

This is a song that I finally got around to completing. I first came up with the opening portion of the song (09-21-2015) and could never end up finishing the rest of it in a way that would do the song justice with purpose. So, this is what I was getting around to a past week in 2016. Enjoy everyone and I hope it makes a good emotional and yet passionate impact in a way.

This is a tribute song to David Bowie, Prince, & Alan Rickman's passing in 2016, (at the time of their passings I wanted to make a song in tribute and honour of them) and other who've passed away as of the present day.

This song came to mind when I just happened to be playing a few third chords on my keyboard and I chose certain ones that went well together in sequence and that's where the Intro sequence or chords bloomed the rest of the song with additional synths as well as the early descending three-key entrance of the bass line. 

The title came off from the top of my head starting the song around midnight-ish and then going to 3:45am in the morning (hence the subtitle in brackets) and making music is a passionate and wonderful escape into a meditation coming out of reality.

This would be the second to last track to the Future of Yesterday EP. This is a song re-done up and improved from it's original version. The origin track bared the name "Kollectively Klever", but I thought that with this new and improved,  and yet more ambient rendition of that track I would give the name River Among the Stars.

Februrary 7th, 2020,
I wanted to make a song that felt 80's. A simple beat, with a drone synth in the background with some melodies to prop the song up. So, this song kind of has 3 parts to it. 

The intro helps setup the teasing chorus that happens between each verse or bridge in between. 

I got the feeling of stargazing when I kept playing back the song as I was making it and imagining myself in a zooming space craft visiting different galaxies and planets. So, the song is meant to be a cruise through space visiting differently characterized stars which could be planets and/or galaxies hence the title "Asterisma".

Cosmogyral, the title track for the album. I wanted to make a big and sort of epic space journey song to represent the album. So, with my amateur mixing skills I applied a lot of reverb to synths and samples. When it came to coming up with the melodies and rhythms I wanted to use positive notes and chords. Space is also a mysterious spectacle so I also kept that in mind to make the different patterns.

Track Description:

April 14th, 2020 - I started messing with some sounds and different plugins and happened upon some atmospheric preset sounds. So, the reverb enhanced droning notes you hear at the very beginning of the song were the very first notes I used to elaborate into the rest of the song. Accompanied by a growing melody loop and some drone synth strings to create the eerie and dark atmosphere.

A long-time friend I grew up with suggested that I explore more Synthwave/Retrowave, 80's action film soundtrack concepts and ideas for songs to create, so this is one of my takes on dedicating a track to the genre.

Living Upside Down was first conceptualized back in 2007 (the early years of MikeroSynth's adventure into experimental electronic sound establishment). The original concept/idea track was very minimalistic, but it lacked a lot of atmosphere. It was a really roughly mixed demo. {Present Day}: When March 26, 2020 came into existence, I happened to search through my archives of old concepts and idea tracks. I thought it was justice by nature to bring the track into a new direction, but keeping a lot of the root elements of the original concept.

I'm a passionate and striving music maker who creates ambient, electronic, and spacey instrumentals and soundscapes for those seeking out meditative escapes for their imaginations. Some of my influences and inspirations: Jean-Michel Jarre, Brian Eno, Tangerine Dream, Kraftwerk, Depeche Mode, and many more.

Every contribution keeps me motivated and inspired to continue sharing my gift and love for making music.

Brief History of Mikerosynth:

I've been creating various types of music since 2005, when I was introduced to FL Studio by a friend who showed me an early demo (FL Studio 7's demo), and I fell in love. I was mesmerized by it. Since then, I have conceptualized many concepts and ideas. I went through so many names in the past to fit the sound I create, and I finally landed on Mikerosynth, because it just stuck. 

Mikerosynth - Present Day:

My real name is Mike, and my music spans from Ambient Electronic to Synthwave and Experimental. I've evolved my palette of music taste since I first started messing around with FL Studio. I attended and graduated from an audio engineering course, which gave me more confidence mixing and tweaking how I want my song to sound using different pieces of equipment, whether it be working with analog or digital (virtual) gear with FL Studio's library of plugins and VSTs to make much better and more colourful music.

As you can see, I have posted up tracks listed with the labels "WIP" (Work in Progress) or "Demo," but don't worry, I will get around to finishing and posting completed mixes in the near future. I will continue to brainstorm ideas, apply my talents, and craft a better and more fitting listening experience.
