I had a total blast recording this with my kids.  Andrew picked the song and sang lead, Kate was kind enough to assist and sing backup (for a change), and I figured out the rest of it.  Definitely a little different from the original.

Since all 3 of my bother-in-laws were at our house for Christmas it seemed like a great time to record something.  The four of us all play guitar (me being the worst) and I have been meaning to cover this song for a long time.

So this is 3 guitars, some midi drums, and me doing vocals (including the kids choir.)

This beautiful song from the movie Barfi is a long awaited break in the monotony of highly commercialized movie tracks. its Simplicity yet ghazal texture brings back to mind the great melodies of the olden golden days!!! Hope you enjoy my simple acoustic rendition of it!!!

The last sung note features a vocal harmony of an E minor triad spanning my entire vocal range (the top note being a B6)
