The city, enveloped in grey-blue twilight, gradually sinks into silence. Panel buildings, like giants, tower over the street, illuminated by the dim light of streetlamps. The first snowflakes, like fluff from a celestial blanket, dance in the faint glow of the streetlights. They fall onto the damp asphalt, melting instantly and leaving behind a thin, icy trace.

With each falling snowflake, the city grows ever quieter. The sounds of cars, the hum of people – everything gradually fades, muffled by the gentle hush of the falling snow. It brings back memories of that very first snow from childhood, when the world seemed infinitely vast and magical. The first winter at school, ice slides, snow forts, snowball fights.

Childhood dreams and a unique, innocent joy. A warmth in the heart. A sweet and gentle melancholy. A sadness that time cannot be stopped, that childhood is gone, but the magic of the first snow remains in our souls forever.

The first snow is not merely the start of winter; it's the beginning of a new cycle of memories, dreams, and the anticipation of wonders that always reside in the human heart...

Mike Tohr has played in the best Belgian clubs like Fuse, Ampere, AB, Labyrinth club, Vaag and has played on the famous Diynamic stage at Tomorrowland! Today Mike has already shared the decks with name’s like Stephan Bodzin, Kollektiv Turmstrasse, HVOB, Recondite, Hunter/Game and many more. 

With a love for nature he often takes his recording equipment with him into the woods. Here he records samples that he uses to create his own unique organic sound.

Thanks to a continuous search for improvement Mike Tohr released on different international labels such as Einmusika, (Einmusik’s label), Tale & Tone (Lee Burridge’s Label), Subjekt, Atmosphere records And many more.
