His sonic adventure began when he started buying tracks on Beatport to play at club events. Over the next two years Mike's musical journey would undergo some amazing and incredible changes. From DJ to music producer and most significantly, founder, owner and manager of record label "Sick Slaughterhouse". Mike's passion for music and savvy business sense has helped make SSH one of the leading Electro House labels in the game. By running the label, Mike started working with artists he had come to admire over the years. If being a DJ, producer and label owner wasn't enough, Mike also was managing, very successful artists that include Darth & Vader, Tim3bomb, Toxxic, Fast Foot and Rabbit Killer under the Sick Slaughterhouse Artist Management. It was in 2003 when Marvin Hell aka Toxxic and Erik Venhues aka Microdizko founded Electrixx in Berlin, Germany. As Electrixx, they have been consistently hitting the Top 10 of various charts on different online stores with productions, such as “Frequenzstörung“, “Tokyo Rush“, “Cumshot“, “My Bassline“, “Crispy Cake“, “Some Beats“, etc. Their single "Tetris" proved to be a crossover hit, not only reaching the #1 spot in the Beatport Charts but also spawning a collaboration with the US Hip Hop star Flo Rida which was then chosen as a theme song for the famous Walt Disney movie “Step Up 3D”. Furthermore, Tiësto himself made it an integral part of his Kaleidoscope tour and invited Electrixx to play on his tour in Brazil. Since then, releases such as “Cyclus”, “No Discussion“, “Destroyer“ as well as their official remixes for Deadmau5, Zedd, Felguk, FTampa, Westbam and Tomcraft have proven to be “must have” tracks for every Electro House lover and DJ all over the world. In 2014, a long-awaited collaboration came true. The Electro House heroes Electrixx and Far Too Loud came together and worked in the studio to bring "Let’s Rock“ to the world. They reached the Top 20 of the Electro House Top 100 chart at Beatport with this masterpiece. The track got some huge support from artists, such as Hardwell, Martin Garrix, Afrojack, Excision, Datsik and many more. After hundreds of shows around the globe in the US, Korea, Brazil, the UK, France, Hungary, Mexico or Russia, Electrixx have never got tired with touring.
After 14 Years of Electrixx, Erik left the projekt and is now focusing on his 2 children and his new LED company. Marph continues the project Electrixx alone. Be prepared for the next powerful releases.
