Track Description – “Blue Roof” by Siegfried Jünger
The closing track on Order 8, “Blue Roof” unfolds like a final transmission from a collapsing system. Harsh textures and abrasive drones grind against each other beneath scattered bursts of off-kilter percussion. Distant, staccato strikes echo across an empty soundstage, interrupted only by brief, almost accidental fragments of melody. Low-end rumbles provide an ominous undertow, as the track pulses with tension and unease. Jünger’s dark ambient vision reaches its most dystopian here—cold, disoriented, and unresolved.

Crumb the Cat

The second track to be the same length over 9 minutes as a vocal track like this, after Foul-Mouthed Parrot was the first one that was super long.

This thing in my own assessment is strong in the early to middle but cringe at the end  because of Time constraints.  It would get re-takes of all the vocals for the last third at a later time (TBD!), like one of my "Alpha Remaster" type releases.  I juggle a 9-5 job and am not full-time musician and yeah it shows lol

A slow, smoke-drenched descent into noir jazz minimalism. Sticks Thompson’s restrained percussion and Sonny Rhodes’ sparse piano set a hushed, uneasy mood, while Guy Stansfield’s clarinet and Blue Six’s trumpet emerge in ghostly bursts—echoes in the darkness. Wilt Flowers anchors the piece with deep, deliberate bass, giving the track a sense of weight and finality.

An evocative closing statement—empty streets, last drinks, and nothing left to say.
