When we got the call from the Robot Heart team asking if we were going to attend the Free Burn, and would we be able to DJ their 1st sunrise since 2019, we knew something special was about to take place.  

Both of us had performed solo sets on the bus many times in the past, but this was to be our 1st time playing as a duo. This special sunrise set is a dedication to the life of Robot Heart founder, Geo. 

We did our best to capture his inspiration, celebrate his contribution, and shine a light on his legacy.

We had several discussions back and forth with RH members that knew Geo well, and with that knowledge, we prepared special songs and spoken word moments to honor his memory.

Apart from that we did not plan out any of the set, and allowed the moment and energy to guide our selections and musical choices. 

We’d like to thank the entire RH Family for their trust and support over the years. And we’d especially like to thank all the true Burners who were in attendance, for adhering so well to Larry’s 10 principles, respecting the Playa, and reminding us all why we make this trek out to the barren, yet magical landscape, every year. Together we danced to celebrate life, and in particular, to celebrate the life of Geo, as he watched from above.  

We hope this recording brings a smile to the faces of all the lovely Burners who were in attendance, and also to all those Burners, including Geo (who were there in spirit) dancing in the dust, with sunshine and freedom, radiating all around us.

Last year I started my journey as a musical artist and launched YES! Records (with Jon and Jason). Creating beautiful original music to add to our collective global consciousness has filled my heart and soul in way that I previously could not imagine. I want there to be more love, more joy, more connection, more acceptance, more play, more inspiration, more hope, and more dancing in our world! That is my voice as an artist and inspiring that world to manifest is what I’m here to do.

Having a music label allows my to seek out, directly support, and uplift other artists who have the same mission and fill the world with the same flavor of beautiful, intention-filled music. Music is connecting, it is healing, it resonates within us on a deeper level. It can spark joy, open hearts, excite dance, and expand minds. So with YES! Records, in a not so small way, I can help create a more loving and compassionate world. What a blessing! What a gift!

Speaking of gifts, today I would like to share the gift of 90 incredible minutes of dance music with you. This is my set from our YES! Records label laugh party and represents the current state of my heart and soul. Four of my tracks are stinging right in with many of my favorite records of the year and some of my favorite artists of all time; this is incredible company to be in.

Each track has several songs that go right into each other, this mix constantly changes to one old school break beat to the next, along with scratches. That might be a drawback too though, even though the beats are great, they don't last that long because once you get into it, it changes and goes into the next song.
