The track was created in September 2023 (initial composition, recording, arrangement and mix by Patrick/DjArtw2001 in MAGIX) and 23 April 2024 (subsequent composition in GarageBand, further additions, arrangements and final mix by Alex M in Logic Pro) and posted on SoundCloud on 24 May 2024 (by Alex M).

The artwork cover for the track zooms on a part of an oil painting by Patrick/DjArtw2001 of 7 January 2024 that was cropped from a photo and annotated using Mac OS Preview by Alex M on 3 February and 24 April 2024 with final version of 21 August 2024 - in coordination and agreement with Patrick/DjArtw2001.

This song was partially inspired by a book I read by James Salter called A Sport and Pastime. I enjoyed it but would not say I LOVED it.

My music composition work and writing is often very "in the moment". It captures my fleeting moods and/or fragments of things percolating through my world and mind at the very moment of writing. This song is indeed a perfect example of that pattern.
