Nothing more than a dried-up riverbed
N’ all those voices of dissension
Are nothing more than figments inside your head

There was an abundance of choice
Until the choice was no longer theirs
It stood unconcealed
With its burdens to be bared      
She bore witness
As belief fell away from their prayers

With a cold wind blowing
Through your winter of discontent
Release is coming
You best hope it’s heaven sent
Or the other axe might just fall
N’ be the point to what it was she meant

Nothing changes but change itself
Humbled opinion is spreading fast

mikey_a is an ambient and soundscape artist living in Melbourne, Australia.
Though now producing mainly in the box with a mix of VST and field recordings he still likes to occasionally crank out some of the physical treasures he's owned since the '80s: a Korg MonoPoly, a Roland TR-606, TB-303, S-10 and D-110 along with a TEAC 3440 reel-to-reel.
