Born in Paris to Ugandan parents, Mr Boogie grew up between France and West Africa before settling in the UK as a teenager. Having also spent some time in New York, Buenos Aires and Cuba, his unique upbringing coupled with his numerous global excursions have helped to shape his broad and eclectic musical tastes.

Besides holding down a selection of monthly DJ residencies, Mr Boogie hosts a music show named Melting Pot: www.mixcloud.com/meltingpot.

Mr Boogie also runs Soulsa ® Productions, a London-based music events promotion and management company which was established in 2005: www.soulsa.co.uk.
