This is an older track that I forgot but while doing some kind of spring cleaning….so to speak in my external hard drives, came across this one. I asked Arkestar if he would consider adding his awesome vocals to it and he said yes. Very happy about that as I really love his voice and his work.
Anyway, this is about moving on in life, letting the past, your old life behind, moving towards something new, something better. I thought this was the perfect time to post this track, as in today’s uncertainty, not really knowing what’s going on, I’d rather choose optimism as anything is possible. Another collaboration with Torbjørn Vagle and Jimmy Rivas.
Torbjørn sent me a demo of his new song and asked if I would be interested in collaborating.
As with our previous collaborations, Torbjørn and myself traded ideas until we had a reasonable draft of the song to send to Jimmy for him to write lyrics and record his vocal.
Thanks very much to Torbjørn for asking me to contribute to this gorgeous song (visit his page to hear how he got the title) and of course to Jimmy for his outstanding vocal and lyrics. Working with these guys is awesome.
