The bourbon made this night all right..
But the city streets, holds empty and cold

Before The Snow 

He was just an old man
from the time before the snow
Before the katabatic winds
drove ice down from the poles

When people numbered billions
across the surface of the Earth
The world was blue and green with life
Around the planets girth

He said the beasts that burrow
The skittering scrabbling things
Had colour, grace and beauty
Elegance and wings

He told tales of beasts much larger
than the stature of a man
with scales and fur and teeth and claws
Before the cold began

He whispers there were things called trees
10 times higher than our huts
with fruit and leaves and monkeys
That men called carpenters would cut

He keeps our people happy
with his tales of long ago
If there is truth within his stories
we will surely never know

And yet we can hear echoes

The Rays of Infinite Love *Master

Recorded last year my first notes on this track when mixed started with the word 'madness'.
Somewhat refined by editing the structure is ABCBDBEBB...
'B' could represent both bridge and breakdown...the heart of the piece and the initial musings on a alto sax/flute riff that sort of drifted off into improvised ramblings.
Other sections feature flute solo, melodica/synth, distorted clarinet and soprano sax in celtic mode and rumbling triple tongued bass-effect alto sax.
Behind it all (somewhere) is a chugging thai violin. 
Still somewhat crazy.
