Big feet & big thoughts are some key words, influences from Chicago House, Detroit Techno, Amster / London  etc.
The sound of Goophy is aimed directly into the soul and out on the dance floor, its playful with a positive charge, 
an uplifting deep funky jackin groove with elements of Soul, funk, jazz, hip-hop, disco, tech, techno, psy and Acid.
 


People talk about his commitment and his passion about music. He has been an active dj and organizer of ca. 25 years. In the course of that time,  he and his big feet, put his tracks and made spin-offs beyond and into the underground. He has now developed to be in one of todays foremost  Dj;s.

Dj Goophy is known from the underground parties and concepts as Momentum, Reverberate, Circa Loka, Eccentric, delirium, Non-Stop, Funky Fiction, The Funky Room etc. Erik has been on the line-up of countless New Years/ birthday parties, and that he has played at most of the spots. He has also made his mark in Tønsberg, Stavanger and Bergen. In Oslo, he has played in places such as The Villa, Sikamicanico, Cosmo, Serum, PI, Cafe Con bar, Feber, Humla, Hausmania, Baronzai, Nomaden, Cube Club, Månefisken, Soria Moria mm. 
 He has opened for Kevin Sounderson from Detroit (us), and played at Musikkfest Oslo 2 years in a row. Otherwise, he had his own radio show on radio skranglebass named Momentum. Also Concept of the same name with international bookings ; Massimo Dacosta, Lil Mark, Phil Weeks and Jason Hodges. Appear repeatedly on Torsdagsklubben,

The original ‘GirlOnWax’ DJ Leanne is proud to celebrate 3 decades of DJing House Music! She spins House in many forms: Jackin to funky, dirty, (always bass-line friendly) to Deep & Vocal Tech House; her true passion! In 2023 she DJ'ed opening sets for some of her House Music heroes: DJ Sneak, DJ Heather & Derrick Carter. She had the honour of spinning on The Living Room stage at The Shambhala Music Festival (2022) and The Groove Cruise Miami (2020 & 2019). Over the course of her DJ career this far, Leanne has spun opening sets for Kaskade, Mark Farina, Kenny Glasgow, DJ Jazzy Jeff, Boy George, Armand Van Helden, Roy Davis Jr & Miguel Migs, to name a few. 
She has held over 10 nightclub DJ residencies in Vancouver & Victoria at The Lotus Sound Lounge, Shine, Celebrities Nightclub, Hush & Sonar Cabaret. 
In 2000 she created Western Canada’s first DJ School 'The Rhythm Institute'. She's taught 500+ students with her carefully curated 'DJ 101' curriculum at several DJ Schools & workshops in the Lower Mainland including 'Table Tutors' & 'School of Mix'. Leanne began her DJ career with a degree in broadcasting and has produced & hosted the popular underground House Music radio shows 'Fresh Air' (2000-2003) & 'GirlOnWax Radio' (2013-2017). You can catch her vocals on tracks by House Music producers Jay Tripwire, Buck & Taho + she's co-produces + sings vocals with Mostly Yoshi. 
DJ Leanne is currently the CEO of the critically acclaimed DJ company 'GirlOnWax Entertainment' where she manages talented DJs & Musicians with a mainly female DJ & Musician roster. DJ Leanne Career Highlights: Opening DJ set for The Red Hot Chili Peppers; DJ’ing for Sarah McLachlan on the Lilith Fair tour and DJ'ing an event for Prince William & Kate Middleton.
