Mikey Moolah (Born Michael Gomes, August 23rd,1986) is an American rapper born in the small city of Providence, RI. Born into a single parent household, Mikey took a liking to music easily due to his mothers liking for music. Not only was his mother into music, but so was his father, who had a hit on local radio stations in RI for a month straight. Mikey discovered his passion for music early in life. He would often perform at talent shows and open mic events. 
But growing up in the streets of Providence, RI was no easy ride, he would some how later on end up finding himself in the grasp of the long arm of the law. By age 13, Mikey found himself in and out of Training School serving time for stolen cars, gun possesion and drug charges. He couldnt find his way through the revolving door of trouble until he later on realized he had a special talent that he had set aside years before just for the streets.
In 2005 at age 19, Mikey learned to leave the troubles behind him and focused on what he loved most: MUSIC. He later linked up with an old friend who was into the music heavy and offered him free studio time whenever he chose. Taking his friend up on the offer, made it well worth it! He then formed a rap group with his friend by the name of "G.M.B"(Get Money Boyz) and started making his mark in the local rap scene. He and his group then met a manager and started to travel up and down the Tristate/New England area, opening up shows for artists such as Jae Millz, Uncle Murda, Shae Davis and many more.
Then in the Early '07, trouble some how finds its way back to Mikey, and he was incarcerated for almost 2 years on Assault and Deadly Weapons charges. Serving time was no lovely vacation, though this time, it helped Mikey to realize what he wanted in life and made him mature as a man and as a person. It also helped him to realize his talent was actually something once he noticed he had crowds of inmates surrounding him just to hear him "RAP". 
Released In November 2008, Mikey set his mind on one thing and one thing only, "MUSIC". Now at age 26, with a promising career in music, Mikey continues to do what he does BEST and continues on his road to SUCCESS....
