Deswegen ist und bleibt die Musik der Soundtrack des Lebens.

Following this year’s acclaimed singles ‘Presence’ and ‘Colors of Life’, as well as the upcoming ‘Silk & Fur’ (out September 19), ‘Aelle’ is a masterfully woven collection of tracks that balances the intensity of the dance floor with the intimacy of personal listening. Across twelve tracks, OXIA crafts an evocative sonic palette where melodies and grooves intertwine with moments of emotion, elegance, and timeless beauty.

Speaking about the upcoming album, OXIA commented: “As with my previous albums, I let my creativity run free once again, without setting limits. I wanted to bring together everything I love about electronic music – groove, melodies, emotion, intensity – and blend them with calmer, more reflective tracks”.

‘Aelle’ also highlights OXIA’s collaborative spirit, featuring contributions from long-time friends and creative partners. Faces sees him reunite with label co-founder Nicolas Masseyeff, while ‘Silk & Fur’ and ‘On The Trip’ see him team up with Yannick Baudino. The album also welcomes compelling vocal performances from Hen Wen (Calling The Sun) and Hacène (Silk & Fur).

Musically, the record flows through a rich spectrum: melodic, groove-driven tracks (Nuance, Faces), ethereal pieces laced with emotion (Calling the Sun, Saisons), and moments of deep, poignant melancholy (Aerial). The title track ‘Aelle’ and songs like ‘A Special Day’ and ‘Run’ underline OXIA’s ability to move effortlessly between the club and the heart, creating music with enduring resonance.

In unserer Kindheit hat bestimmt jeder schon mal durch eines dieser Zauberröhrchen geschaut, welches die Welt um einen herum mit Magie und Verstreuung erfüllt hat. Eine Konzipierung und Konstruktion der Phantasie aus Licht, Formen und Farben.
Diese bunte Erinnerung fügt sich gut ins Bild unserer Gedanken an die aufregenden und ereignisreichen Tage der Jugend. Tage die uns im nachhinein zumeist positiv im Gedächtnis bleiben. Die wunderschön langen Sommerferien, ausschlafen am Wochenende, Freunde zu jeder Zeit verfügbar. Natürlich war nicht alles immer Friede, Freude Eierkuchen und auch die Streitereien mit den Eltern oder das erste gebrochene Herz blitzen wieder auf. Im Vergleich mit dem Erwachsenendasein überwiegt jedoch das warme Gefühl der Geborgenheit.
Auf den Erwachsenen wartet das Damoklesschwert der Verantwortung. Der Schwarz-Weiß-Filter wird auf das Leben gesetzt und die Freiheit in die Ketten der flexiblen Arbeitszeit gelegt. Zumindest bekommt man beim Anblick vieler Ü25er dieses Gefühl. Die Leichtigkeit des Seins scheint abhanden gekommen zu sein. Der graue Alltag hält viele gefangen und lässt sie das Bunte der Welt übersehen. Damit ein Ausbruch gelingen kann, Bedarf es der Magie der Kindheit, die vielleicht mit einem Blick durch ein Zauberröhrchen für eine kurze Zeit wieder aufleben kann. So können auch die akuellen vielen grauen Gewittertage ganz neuen Glanz erhalten.

Für uns haben Followill und Wilma einen Blick durchs Kaleidoskop in die Phantasiewelt aus Formen und Farben gewagt. Ihre gesammelten Eindrücke haben sie für uns in einer treibenden deep story festgehalten.
Wir sind begeistert von den tollen Möglichkeiten, die uns aufgezeigt werden. Wir hoffen ihr auch!

Biografie:

Namasté,

begonnen hat meine "Liebe & Leidenschaft" zur elektronischen Musik "wahrscheinlich" mit den ersten Parties in den Hanomaghallen in Hannover. 
Dort bin ich das erste Mal mit DJ-Sets konfrontiert worden und war direkt von dem Spirit und dem Sound begeistert. Es folgte wegweisend Cocoon und ausgiebige Besuche in Clubs, Paraden und Open Airs.

An das DJing habe ich allerdings dabei noch nicht gedacht, das Rocken stand eindeutig im Vordergrund :)

Vor ca. acht Jahren haben dann gute Freunde und ich damit angefangen, selber Parties zu organisieren und ich beschloss mir Equipment zu kaufen und mich mit den Mixen und der Trackauswahl zu beschäftigen!

Dann ging alles sehr schnell, unsere "Pulsschlagparties" waren und sind Erlebnisse die sich einprägsam der Alltagswirklichkeit entgegensetzen und die Livesets der Residents und Gast Dj wurden mitgeschnitten und machten die Runde.

Die ersten Club Gigs standen an und ich hatte dann das Vergnügen in lokalen Clubs wie dem Sam’s, Tronix, Destinys, Waldfrieden und auf vielen anderen Parties wie der SuperNova, Festivalkult Veltheim OA, Tannengrund OA, P.O.H. Festival OA und dem Wonderland OA weitere Erfahrungen zu sammeln. 

Es folgten Studiomixe und weitere Livemitschnitte und viele geile Partys mit Sets und Tracks von meinen Freunden JOsha, Svente, usw.

So schön solche Freunde zu haben!!!

Unter der Flagge der Pulsschlag-Crew entstand 2011 unser eigenes kleines Open-Air mit den Namen "Sirens of the Wood" das im Jahr 2014 in die vierte Runde geht.

2010/2011 ging es endlich für 9 Monate nach Indien, Sri Lanka, Thailand, Cambodia und Vietnam in denen ich mich für meine innere Ruhe und Liebe, weitere Sets und Tracks & Ziele inspirieren lassen habe.
