For the first time in our 25-year history, we are releasing a live solo recording by Craig Richards from the club. 

“This mix was recorded on the second of December at a Continuum party. I commenced just after five and finished at nine. The heady combination of nostalgia coupled with the past, the future and more importantly my daughter dancing next to me, resulted in a mix that I felt happy with. Historically, I have been very self-critical and have chosen not to release many mixes. Across nearly four hours this one seems to encapsulate the twenty five years of playing at fabric. In 1998 I was invited by Keith Reilly to play weekly at what was an imaginary nightclub. I had no idea that experience would continue for so many years. Playing vinyl on that sound system and mixer is highly exciting and a joy in itself. I am delighted that this has been my method of sonic communication and remain deeply grateful for my ongoing residency.” - Craig Richards

Troy returns to Klockworks with a powerful 4 track EP following his contribution to the ‘Klockworks 20’ compilation and his debut solo EP on the label ‘Klockworks 21’.

For this new record, the producer from The Hague (Netherlands) presents a collection of diverse dance floor cuts channeling a classic raw techno sound. Utilising the OB-6 analog synthesizer as one of the main instruments, he recorded all tracks in one take in order to keep the vibrant energy of the live process.

Apesar da natureza pouco comunicativa e até meio obscura, não há muito segredo para descrever Mikio. Techno e House, são suas raízes, mas para ele o mais importante é a história de cada música, o que quer contar ou já contou ao longo dos anos. Essa hipnose pela história da arte na música eletrônica é o que abastece seus sets com tracks de hoje e de 50 anos atrás. Com releases e mixes aparecendo de forma escassa, Mikio é muito seletivo e prioriza qualidade ao invés de quantidade, numa tentativa de resgatar o caráter artístico e revolucionário da música eletrônica que, para ele, tem sido ofuscado pela influência do mercado.

We are what we feel, and what we propagate.

Despite the low communicative and even somewhat obscure nature, there is not much secret to describe Mikio. Techno and House are his roots, but for him the most important thing is the history of each song, what he wants to tell or has told over the years. This hypnosis for the history of art in electronic music is what supplies your sets with tracks from today and 50 years ago. With releases and mixes appearing sparingly, Mikio is very selective and prioritizes quality over quantity, in an attempt to rescue the artistic and revolutionary character of electronic music that, for him, has been overshadowed by the influence of the market.
