Gabriel Badwan is a DJ, producer, and dedicated record collector based in Curitiba, Brazil. Founder of the Brazilian label hOmeTown, Gabriel has been a key figure in Curitiba’s underground scene, bringing a deep and borderless approach to music curation.
With a passion for rare and eclectic sounds from every corner of the world, Gabriel’s sets dances between genres—blending global grooves, latin rhythms, and obscure gems into cohesive, immersive journeys. His selections are grounded in emotional storytelling, often moving seamlessly through world music, balearic, downtempo, house, disco, and everything in between.
Gabriel has made his mark internationally, playing at famous venues such as Le Mazzette, Doublevie, Le Montana, and Le9b in Paris; Yellow House and Multipla in Amsterdam; and Caracol Bar in São Paulo. He’s also been featured on acclaimed radio platforms including The Lot Radio (NYC), Gop Tun Mix Series, Radio Tempo Não Para(Amsterdam), Milkman (India), and Discoteca Galactica (Barcelona), among others.
In both the booth and the studio, Gabriel is driven by curiosity and a desire to unearth and share the world’s most beautiful, strange, and soulful sounds.
