Minimal House, trippige Elemente und energiegeladener Breakbeat gepackt in eine atmosphärische Stimmung.

Wenn ich  zwischen Peak Time und Closing wählen müsste, würde ich definitiv das Closing Set bevorzugen.  Ich liebe die besondere Stimmung und intimere Atmosphäre einer Afterhour.

Für mich gehört es zusammen, vorne links zu tanzen, während wir das Set feiern und unseren Spaß haben. 

Absolutes Gig-Highlight? 

Es fällt mir schwer, mein Gig-Highlight zu benennen, aber das emotionalste war wohl auf dem 3000Grad Festival in diesem Jahr. Nach einer Woche auf dem Acker und wenig Schlaf hat mich das Set auf dem Schiff Ahoi mit der perfekten Playtime, Stimmung und tollen Menschen und Freunden überwältigt.

5, 4, 3, 2, 1... Frohes Neues! Set! Wie eine Rakete in den Weltraum feuert uns die liebe ina all den nächsten mikromal guestmix ins neue Jahr. Ein immer wieder zündendes Tischfeuerwerk von rollenden, nach vorne treibenden Bässen und groovy, perkusiven Sounds, das uns immer mal wieder in smooth-harmonierende Sphären katapultiert.

Mit dem vierten Mix jagt uns fannik aus der Schweiz etwas frühzeitig Amors Pfeil  durch die speaker direkt in unsere Herzen. Wie auf Wolke 7 treiben uns die wabernden Bässe durch einen minimalistischen, verträumten Kosmos, während uns eine Makrodosis gut platzierter Claps bis ans Ende des Set kickt. Mit Knarzig-klebenden Basslines, dubbigen Elementen und sanften Melodien versetzt uns Tante Kante immer wieder in schöne Tagträume bis uns ein paar smoothe Breakbeats oder fruchtige Hi-hats, bei denen selbst Kolter blass werden würde, wieder zum Tanzen zurück in die Realität holen. Wir freuen uns sehr über dieses abwechslungsreiche und lebendige Minimal-Microhouse-Set, dass sich durch den gelungenen roten Faden zu einem wunderbaren Gesamtkunstwerk zusammenwebt. Rux from Bucharest (Romania ) wowes us with her set full of spatial sounds and an excellent taste in music. With deep microsounds, she creates an atmospheric and magical vibe that had us all hooked. The partly mystical tones and pulsating rhythms keeps us entranced as we listen. Le Chu, Venezuelan DJ and producer, is the mind behind We Are Play Music Project (podcast and premiere's channel) and WAPM Records label.

Le Chu is characterized by playing house, minimal, and electro with techno influences. She has released her music on several labels in different parts of the world such as Brazil, Bulgaria, Romania, Ecuador, Mexico, among others, which has given a boost to her career and has also helped with internationalization and growth in her path within the worldwide electronic scene.

Discover the DJ Mix Archive from the Dungen Stage at Way Out West: Jessie Granqvist.

Since her debut as a DJ in 2011, she has been a resident at several underground clubs, which have shaped her as an artist and person. With roots in raves and open-air events, she has gained notoriety for her style of trippy, groovy, and meditative sounds merged into a highly danceable mix. With both technical skill and an eclectic selection of records, she has the talent to build a long-lasting vibe on every dance floor she appears on.

Since her start, Jessie has played in almost every DJ booth in Stockholm (where she is based), as well as in clubs in Berlin, Amsterdam, Tbilisi, and more. In 2018, she performed her first live set at Uppsala Art Museum in collaboration with artist Timothy Wilson.

Jessie is a resident at Stockholm-based Hypnotic Woods, Northern Electronics, Momentum, and Berlin-based Feiramt.

The progression of his production quickly drew interest from within Istanbul's club scene and lead to a performance at last years Boiler Room Istanbul. Today, he combines his musical background and contemporary performing arts education in his choreograph and sound design work for modern theatre. Mutlu San presents a stripped, laid-back, minimal groove on the sinister Leidenfrost. A creepy synth note comes fore and aft as eastern flutes and keys simmer in the shadows. Palette Recordings boss John Tejada is brought in on remix duty and with added bite and a tougher groove, electrifies the bubbling original.
