The mi[ks]ton Jazztett couples Jazz with influences of different musical styles in a new fashion. Theire repertoire covers newly interprated Jazz standards or own compositions wich combine world music, Jazz and electronical music. Melodical parts are provided by a brass section containing saxophon, trumpet and trombone. The groove comes from the fellow band members at the guitar, base and drums. This way mi[ks]ton develops theire very own character: groovy, funky, sensitive and atmospherical.

Das mi[ks]ton Jazztett führt Jazz mit Einflüssen aus diversen Musikrichtungen neu zusammen. So finden sich im Programm entweder neu interpretierte Jazzstandards oder eigene Kompositionen, die Weltmusik, Jazz und elektronische Musik verbinden. Die melodischen Parts übernehmen dabei die drei Bläser mit Saxophon, Trompete und Posaune. Um den Groove kümmern sich die Bandkollegen an der Gitarre, Bass und Schlagzeug. So entwickelt mi[ks]ton seinen ganz eigenen Charakter, der groovig, funkig, einfühlsam und sphärisch klingt.
