Su estilo dentro del Techno es una combinación de sonidos oscuros y envolventes. Sus sesiones se caracterizan por desbordar de intensidad, llevando este estilo neto a su máxima expresión.
Nacido en Buenos Aires un 27 de Mayo de 1978, comienza sus días como dj a la edad de 25 años tocando en fiestas y clubes de Buenos Aires,  teniendo la oportunidad de ser parte del ciclo Submerged de Diego Cid compartiendo cabina con XHEI, jugando y disfrutando siempre de la música TECHNO.
Influenciado por artistas como Xhei, Hefty, Niereich, DNS, OTIN, Jeff Mills, Juan Atkins, Oscar Mulero,  Kyle Geiger, Rebekah, Jeroen Search y Christian Schachinger entre otros.
Trabajando duro todos los días de la semana, posando días sin salir de su casa y de su mini estudio NIELL  es un hombre que solo piensa en progresar en lo que más ama, que es la música y así poder desarrollar una identidad musical propia devenida de los sintetizadores!
Amo las maquinas y los vinilos... de hecho creo que el sonido del TECHNO en vinilo es el mas puro y autentico. 
NIELL tiene amor por la música de la vieja escuela y la cultura underground a la cual no va a dejar de pertenecer nunca!!!

What and who is A Darker Wave?
We are a duo (jacki-e & p-mac) who present A Darker Wave every week only on NLive Radio, Circl8 Radio, Echo Radio & Chill Lover Radio. We put the show together in our home studio. The show is streamed worldwide on the internet. Each show is posted on our Soundcloud, Mixcloud, Hearthis.at, Podbean and You Tube pages once it has been streamed and presents the best in new techno releases.
We also play gigs as A Darker Wave and we have played at events in Germany and all over the UK.
The music we play is techno, tech house, deep house and anything else we like enough to include in the show.
Each show is 2 hours long. In the first hour we go into the mix with our featured EP of the week and the best of the new releases.
In the second hour we invite new and upcoming DJs to come onto the show and do a guest mix.

Why are you called A Darker Wave?
Dark Wave was first used in the 1980s to describe a dark and melancholy variant of new wave and post-punk music and was first applied to UK musicians such as Bauhaus, Joy Division, Sisters of Mercy, Cocteau Twins, The Cure, Siouxsie and the Banshees, Depeche Mode and Anne Clark. It was also used to describe artists who combined music with performance art, such as Throbbing Gristle and Cabaret Voltaire, who challenged and explored the darker and obsessive sides of the human condition.

A lot of techno takes its spirit and ethos from this music, Listen to Throbbing Gristle or Cabaret Voltaire and you can hear the industrial sounds which are a staple of techno music today.

Techno is the outsider of electronic dance music, the punk of today's modern music scene. As Dave Clarke said in an interview with Mixmag, " Techno is edgy. Techno will challenge you......it's the real dark art."

Our radio show, in presenting the best in underground techno and deep house music, and in giving an opportunity for new, up and coming DJ's and producers, is providing an outlet for new techno, which is best described as being the new wave of modern dance music.

Not just a new wave, but with it's incessant bass rumblings, synthesiser drones, pounding drums, melodic top notes and eerie, distorted vocal samples, techno, in all its forms, is a backdrop to and a critique of our post-industrial, consumerist society, one in which our actions are observed 24/7, our democratic freedoms are threatened by our very own governments and our rights to do, think and act as we please are under ever increasing scrutiny. Techno really is A Darker Wave.

When we were listening to music in the 60’s and 70’s, before the electronic tentacles of technology infiltrated the world, we often thought, whilst listening to the likes of Led Zeppelin, Pink Floyd, King Crimson, Frank Zappa, Hawkwind, Captain Beefhart, New York Dolls and Roxy Music, where would music go to in the future? It could never be what was being portrayed in the science fiction movies of the time. Now we know. It can be anything. When we have a recording studio in our own home which is more powerful and versatile than anything available back then, we now know music can be anything and go anywhere. It is only the spark of our imaginations, or lack of it, that holds us back. On our laptop computers we have the capabilities that many artists back then would have given their right arms for. It’s for the uniqueness of the artist to express themselves to be able to stand out from the deluge of music available. Finding those gems is the modern day equivalent of crate digging and when you do, it makes it all worthwhile. Long live music!!!!

Markus Kovacs is a Techno-Dj from Munich. He started Djing in 1997 on two belt-drive turntables. The „Presswerk Munich“, recordstore, DJ-booking and events, managed his first performances in Germany and Austria under his former artistname „Project2504“. He played on techno-events, like the open air festival in Schwaz (Aut), at the Temple Club (Reactor) Munich „Potempkin Club III“ and the Club „Marrakesch“ at „Kunstpark Ost“ (Munich). Markus Kovacs is an artist, who ist very flexible by the different styles of electronic music. Certainly he likes the powerful and massive techno beats of todays hardcore and dark techno. But it´s also possible that he creates a melodious psy-trance techno set. For him techno isn´t just music. It is art, which is able to surround all your emotions, to lead in a magical way. It´s a part of personality. starting in the 90´s with „love, peace and unity“, the massage of „Love Parade“. After ten years living at Berlin, where he was influenced by the electro-techno styles, he went back to Munich. Now the digital era opened doors and he switched to work with Traktor Scratch. Sometimes to combine vinyls and digital track or to play with different loops on three decks. He´s next back on stage at the Kult-Beat“ event at the „Tante Erna - Optimolwerke“ (Munich) on 09.09.2017

Gretchen Bazooka is the founder of DYNAMIC BERLIN and active in the city as a Hard Dance DJ, producer and event promoter since 2018. 
90ies Happy Hardcore and Eurodance as well as raving in the underground Freetekno scene of Austria as a young adult have been her main sources of inspiration as an artist. Her sets can best be described as a journey through mood swings, from ecstatic tunes, cheesy Donk edits to warehouse rave vibes and straight-up abrasive Hardcore. 

Most recently she started a DJ side project called @gretchenb , playing dreamy, ravey Trancehouse. 
Gretchen’s previous references include Fusion Festival, Meeresrausch Festival, Mensch Meier and Lokschuppen Berlin, IFZ and Elipamanoke Leipzig, Das Werk Vienna, Hala Odra Szczecin, the Berlin Fuckparade, HÖR and many others.

DYNAMIC BERLIN is a groundbreaking Hard Dance series with a queerfeminist ethos that has been making significant strides in Berlin's electronic music scene. 
Since its inception in 2019, the series has been dedicated to establishing a welcoming and secure environment for the FLINTA and BIPOC communities. DYNAMIC BERLIN stands as a powerful testament to the unifying values of P.L.U.R (peace, love, unity, respect), where individuals empower one another on the dance floor.

Through her creative work and her commitment to fostering an inclusive and empowering space for marginalized communities, Gretchen Bazooka continues to be a driving force in the world of electronic music, leaving an indelible mark on both the music and the social landscape of Berlin's nightlife.

Artist from Poland who started his adventure with electronic music in 2016. They make their first conquests in their hometown of Szczecin, where he quickly became a regular figure on the local stage. An organizer and promoter who drives his environment all the time. Currently specializes in Techno and Psytrance sounds. He started the first releases tracks as a producer in 2020. He can boast of great works that have topped the beatport charts more than onces.   Creator of the Technique Revolution series and DELETED FUSION project. Manager and supporter Techno Expedition Records label.

MARIE WILHELMINE ANDERS is a wanderer in music. Musically and instrumentally trained since her earliest childhood, she received her first technical training as a sound engineer at GDR television. She played keyboards in a punk band in the East Berlin underground music scene, created field recordings and sound installations, studied classical composition at the University Of The Arts Berlin, and graduated as a music teacher at the Musikhochschule Stuttgart. In Stuttgart she was an active part of the experimental improvisational scene playing piano as well as a set of electronics. There she founded two ensembles, "Unterton" and "Hammerhaus", both of which brought together groove and free-flowing improvised forms from different perspectives. Additionally, she initiated and directed “momentmusik"—a concert series for experimental and improvised music, visual arts, performance and spoken word, which established the connection between her ensembles and the national and international scenes. 

In 2005 she ended her concert activity and moved back to Berlin. Eager for new forms of expression, Marie learned to play the electric bass, and began producing her music using DAWs and publishing it under the pseudonym Marie Wilhelmine Anders.

Marie's conceptual thinking and her craft as a modern classical composer allow her to congenially translate non-musical concepts into a modern electronic language, influenced by techno, electronica, ambient music and drum & bass. Between 2018 and 2023 she released 6 albums, 2 EP’s, over 10 remixes and more than 20 mixes. As a producer, Marie likes to work alone and independently. She is also increasingly in demand as a remixer.

Her best friend writes: "Marie works her way out of all restrictions and experiments with styles and musical directions.Thereby she adapts formal means and creates something very much her own out of it. As always, I am impressed by her accuracy in everything she does. Marie is the secret Phoenix among my friends, who every time after it has turned to ashes, puts on a new and even more splendid plumage. I have great admiration for her consistency, uncompromising artistry, unconditional honesty, absolute fidelity and loyalty. One speaks of the Phoenix as an eternally youthful bird. And he can fly.”
