داریوش حدود دو ‌سال پیش در صفحه‌ی رسمی ”ساندکلاد“ خود، ضمنِ به اشتراک گذاشتنِ این ترانه، درباره‌ی چگونگی اجرای این اثر اینگونه توضیح می‌دهد:
«در حین مرور خاطرات ۴۵ ساله‌ام با آندرانیک، به یاد چند اثر مشترکمان در دهه ۵۰ افتادم که به صورت رسمی منتشر نشده‌اند. یکی از آنها ترانه‌ای است به نام «نفس»، با کلام شهیار قنبری و آهنگ و تنظیم آندرانیک. آن را دو بار به صورت تمرینی با ارکستر ضبط کردیم و تقریبا آماده‌ی پخش بود. ولی با پخشِ رسمی نسخه‌ای دیگر از این آهنگ بدونِ اطلاعِ من، به دلیلِ ملاحظاتِ حرفه‌ای در آن زمان این آهنگ را منتشر نکردم. انتشار این اثر بعد از حدود ۴۰ سال شاید برای دوستداران ترانه‌ی نوین جالب باشد، وگرنه من این اثر را بخشی از پرونده‌ی کاری‌ام حساب نمی‌کنم.»

The Renca Reserve in Brazil is one of the most diverse and untouched jungles in the world. It is now under threats of deforestation by greedy individuals, blinded by the monetary interests of the mining industry. 

« Renca reserve in the eastern Amazon is home to the indigenous Aparai, Wayana and Wajapi tribes as well as vast swaths of untouched forest, covering more than 46,000 square kilometres.

Renca contains important reserves of gold, manganese, iron and copper which until now have been available only to relatively low-level state-owned mining. Illegal miners also operate in the area.»
