“Open Eyes, Closed” is built directly on a short poem from my published Persian collection—used exactly as it was written. The English version you hear is the poem itself, carried into music without adaptation.
The track drifts between experimental, ambient, and folk-world textures, but there’s also a faint lullaby quality in its quiet rhythm: wolves sleep with their teeth, doves with their feathers, and a heart hidden beneath a pillow stays awake.
A piece made for that thin line between night and wakefulness.
