Absolutely loved the contrast between the OST and the setting of the Knick. Hats off to Cliff.

I think it was a bold and exhilarating choice of a musical score to take a piece so intense and potentially futuristic in sound (reminds me of Vangelis' theme for Blade Runner actually) and embed in so squarely in this fantastically accurate and thrilling peiod drama set so long ago.  Soderberg has created a real masterpiece of drama with this series, and Martinez has placed the viewer in the very consciousness of every character through his incredible score.  Well done!!

I must have watched the sequence that uses this music at least 10 times. It’s such a great scene, no dialogue, riding through the streets of old New York while this music from the future plays....
