Kingdom Come: Deliverance

Welcome to Bohemia - the heart of Medieval Europe in a time of great upheaval and strife. It is 1403 Anno Domini and the land is torn apart by war, corruption and discord. In the midst of these dangerous times a humble, young blacksmith loses everything to war. He has to face the ugly truth of civil war to fulfill the dying wish of his father. But fate drags him into the thick of a conspiracy to save a kidnapped king and stop the bloody conflict.

Jan Valta (https://soundcloud.com/janvalta) is a composer, an orchestrator, and a violinist. He is the main music composer for Kingdom Come: Deliverance. During his studies he was the member of the Czech Philharmonic Orchestra. Later he co-founded the Herold Quartet, a chamber ensemble with tours in over 20 countries. He arranged hundreds of works of various genres, orchestrated film music, and directed music records. He currently composes symphonic pieces but also songs, chamber works, and TV music. Daniel Vávra offered Jan the scoring of Kingdom Come: Deliverance after hearing two of his works: arrangements for a Czech metal group for their concert with symphony orchestra and Jan's own symphonic work called Fulcanelli.

Adam Sporka (https://soundcloud.com/adam_sporka) is focusing on interactive music and audio as a designer, a researcher, and a programmer. He is responsible for design and implementation of Kingdom Come: Deliverance's adaptive music system (dynamic music), enabling seamless responses of the music to the in-game events. He is a co-designer of the game soundtrack dramaturgy and author of additional music. He is a member of the Department of Computer Graphics and Interaction, Czech Technical University. He received PhD in human–computer interaction and published more than 50 academic papers. He contributed to a number of intermedia installations as a sound designer. Adam is also a passionate composer of chiptunes and a founding member and an author for an "internet band" called the Wasteland Wailers (@wasteland_wailers)

Aitcher Clark is a sound designer, producer, composer and lover of any good music in multiple genres. At age of four, he got mesmerized by his grandma’s records of symphonies by Ludwig van Beethoven, which impacted him for the rest of his life. He grew up with rock music and heavy metal during childhood, which later turned into fascination by beats and electronics. He spent his teenage years exploring techno and IDM by joining rave parties, collecting records and learning to play turntables. The DJing hobby naturally grew into a inner calling for his own music production. He collects inspiration from anything that strikes his ears every day and his creations carry traces of field recordings of various environments. Mind bursting with ideas, he devotes a lot of time to crafting his own sounds, until they truly reflect the shapes contained in his imagination, tones of his moods and intensity of mental states. His music features a balanced mixture of fragile sensitivity and brutal powers of muted physicality, a melancholic stream of delicate harmonies, intelligent beats, with tension gradually escalating up to the edge of opening to the unknown. Apart from his solo electronic performances as Aitcher Clark, he is a member of a trip-pop music band Anakver and industrial duo LOFN. Under the right constellations and when kissed by a muse, he produces ambient electronics influenced by current modern classical music under his alter ego Yerkvoryak. When cranking the volume loud enough, as he likes it, the tracks will start telling a personal story, a yearning for the final answers.

Startér je hitparáda pro nové naděje domácí hudební scény, kterou vysílá Radio Wave. Pošlete nám svoje skladby na starter@rozhlas.cz a zkuste, co na vaše první singly řeknou moderátoři Jonáš Zbořil a Jakub Kaifosz, odborná porota a hlavně posluchači Radia Wave. Vítěz s námi nahraje profesionální videosingl, semifinálová trojka se potká na showcase v pražském Café v lese a všichni účastníci Startéru mají šanci objevit se na festivalech Pohoda, Beseda u Bigbítu nebo na Studio Session Radia Wave.

Hitparáda Startér pouští každý týden pět soutěžních tracků a dvě novinky. O pořadí skladeb v hitparádě rozhoduje hlasování posluchačů, které se otevírá vždy po odvysílání pořadu (tj. ve 21:00 hodin) a uzavírá se tentýž týden v neděli ve 22:00. Hlasovat můžete po jednoduché registraci přes sociální sítě či e-mail vždy jednou za 24 hodin. Každý track může být v soutěži maximálně pět po sobě jdoucích týdnů. Do červnového semifinále postupuje 20 skladeb s celkově nejvyšším počtem hlasů. Porota z nich pak vybere tři skladby, které postupují ve finále. O vítězi Startéru pak v hlasování rozhodnete vy, posluchači.  Jméno vítěze budeme znát 18. června 2018. Podrobné znění pravidel Startéru najdete níž.

V letní části Startéru se přemístíme na pódia letních akcí, hrát ale budeme i u nás ve studiu. Startér Studio Showcase bude představovat nejzajímavější projekty sezóny, čekají vás živé koncerty i debaty nad stavem české scény nebo životností trsátek.

Koho jsme už nastartovali?

Aid Kid se Startéru zúčastnil v sezóně 2013/2014, ze soutěže si ho hudební redakce vybrala i do denního playlistu Radia Wave. Díky Startéru si Aid Kid zahrál na festivalu Pohoda a chvíli poté se stal vítězem posluchačského hlasování hudebně exportního projektu Radia Wave Czeching.

Pandoo zvítězil v sezóně 2015/2016 v posluchačské části Startéru. Zároveň byl porotou vybrán jako reprezentant na festivalech Pohoda, United Islands i Beseda u Bigbítu. Svatou trojici doplnil i o Colours of Ostrava a nadchl tak celé Československo. V roce 2017 vydal debutovou desku Multitudes. Dalekko svůj první singl, Nechoďte ještě spát, záměrně nepromovali. Startér si ho ale všiml a poslal přes kopce až směrem do Trenčína na Pohodu. Chvíli poté zahrála pětice melancholických třicátníků i na United Islands a se svou debutovou deskou na podzim získali Dalekko zaslouženou nominaci na Objev roku v hudebních cenách Vinyla. Stejně jako vítězný Aid Kid.

Killiekrankie byli v sezóně 2015/2016 vybráni k účasti na festivalech Pohoda, United Islands of Prague a Beseda u Bigbítu. I oni se objevili na Colours of Ostrava a v současnosti se bezpochyby dají počítat mezi výrazná jména domácí elektronické a taneční scény.

Indiepopoví Silver Springs se stali vítězi Startéru 2017, veliký ohlas ale vzbudila i zpěvačka a producentka Zagami Jericho. Nejen, že se objevila na pódiích všech festivalů, s nimiž Startér spolupracuje, ale také se stala vítězkou soutěže Czeching, natočila videoklip v Tokiu a vydala svou druhou desku Toxikomania na vinylu.
