“Everywhere” is a brassy, catchy new banger from Sonny Seeza, the Brooklyn hardcore Hip-Hop kingpin who is one of the original members of Onyx (formerly known as both Suavé and Sonsee). Since striking out on his own in 2009 with 'Tytanium,' he’s been working on a follow-up LP, 'Bridges,' that’s set to drop February 26th.

That leaves us with plenty of time to keep “Everywhere” on full blast. Amid clever lyrical turns from Seeza, the track escalates into a pure slapper thanks to Switzerland’s, DJ Def Cut.

With the horns sounding off behind him, Seeza’s bars are especially potent during the second verse. I just really enjoy creating my own vibe with 4/4 music and all its subgenres It can mix with it to tell a story.

We made this as a tribute to a band we loved back when we were kids. It is designed to work at the end of the set as a last tune, to be played from beginning to end.

Elite Force aka Simon Shackleton has had an extensive career spanning over 20 years. Starting off as a musician and being a band member with Thom Yorke before moving onto his own outfit called Lunatic Calm which had quite a successful career and a few number one tunes including "Rollercoaster". Simon has also worked with a bunch of top acts, remixed, wrote movie soundtracks, toured and was one to watch in the Nuskool Breaks scene. He then developed the Tech Funk genre in the late 2000's included with such artists as Meat Katie and Dylan Rhymes to name a few. Nowadays Simon plays marathon 6 hour LIVE sets in his "One Series" and has moved into the world of professional photography.

Well where do i start ? Commonly known as “The Godfather of Breaks” Rennie Pilgrem’s contribution to the early Nuskool Breaks scene is outstanding and given this title is often considered responsible for the creation of the Nuskool Breaks genre. Before moving into breaks Rennie produced techno and acid house and was part of the influential rave group Rhythm Section along with Ellis Dee. Rennie is also the boss of Thursday Club Recordings aka TCR a label which he founded in 1993 which was a major force in the Nuskool Breaks scene. Now concentrating more on his talented art skills Rennie has stepped back from the dance scene and continues to produce some great works of art.

This mix is part 1 of a celebratory mix for his label Thursday Club Recordings aka TCR from 2008, enjoy.
