I wrote this song in 2019 after having some battles in my own personal journey. However, releasing it into the wild has never seemed more appropriate than now.

Limousine is based on the idea that depression can come like a speeding car in the dead of night. 
Most of the time, our objective is to plan our route and aim to make it across the road. However there are unexpected occasions where we end up face to face with a rogue driver. They come fully loaded with a grin on their face, a glint in their eye and have no intention of stopping, potentially changing our course dramatically. We end up becoming starstruck by it’s blinding lights and our options become limited.
Depression is real and we need to look after our mental health as much as our physical health. Whilst some can manage it, others unfortunately consider the lure of champagne and caviar and choose to jump inside the limousine.
As many of us struggle to adapt with what is currently happening around us, I want to encourage us all that together we can do this and we don’t have to do it alone. 
There’s going to be better days around the bend.

This sound was created using “Corrugated Hose Sample”(CC), by Janois (SoundCloud). I liked the deep rhythmic pulse, and wanted to keep its rough timing, while still adjusting it for use in a track. Looped second part to create double beat.
