Some of you may know that I am quite obsessed with telling a story through my DJ sets & podcasts and travelling through music... I have been listening to the music all my life and I have explored different genres and sub-genres of electronic music and beyond. So this is another trip, this time from light hip hop to electro hard-core ;) it may sound bizarre but I feel like it all made sense and I can only hope that you will feel the same. The DJs I look up to the most do this all the time - start from one genre to almost a bipolar one in the end. It's literally like travelling - and I like to explore far away areas. Mr Licka  is at it again with a two hour, daytime bush-prog journey thronged with mind-bending sound design and spiritual aura.

Featuring tracks from his only recently released album 'Beyond the Senses' as well as others unreleased and some of his personal favorites the set induces excitement that is best experienced on the festival dance floor when having a good old booty shake down with our friends and family.  

The aim in surfacing more deep progressive daytime delights alike Mr Licka is something we're excited by and presenting such a newly launched project that is so well aligned shares a taste of what's to come.

Miles from Mars is a hard-hitting combo of two of South Africa’s finest electronic beat-makers, 
Max Kibble & Shane Renew.

With over 25 years of combined production and DJing experience, these two have rocked festivals around the world, from touring Australia - performing at Esoteric Festival, Ozora Festival in Hungary, Modem Festival in Croatia, Son Libre Festival in France, and the mighty Boom Festival later this year.

Miles from Mars sees these two sonic shamans join forces, to create a new breed of psychedelic techno, fuelled by groovy leads and pounding bass lines.
