Tapestry is a versatile musician, producer, composer and songwriter, as well as being a skilled and accomplished saxophone and flute player. Born Errick Orlando Clements in Alexandria, Va in 1971, and moving to Los Angeles with his family in 1976, Tapestry specializes in creating dynamic hip-hop and soundtrack music. His work explores elements of ambient, trip-hop, jazz and R&B genres, offering listeners a rich and immersive auditory experience. Tapestry has collaborated with artists such as The Supreme Beings of Leisure, Ill:ogical SRL, Nico & Vinz, Muni Long, and Meshell Ndegeocello, as well as Grammy-winning producers Theron “Neff-U” Feemster and Snipe Young. He has performed with the B Sharp Jazz Quartet, and jazz luminaries Billy Higgins and Elvin Jones.
