Kerbside Collection - are an all instrumental jazz funk and rare groove ensemble from the inner suburbs of Brisbane/QLD/Australia.
The band plays raw jazzfunk and traditional dusty rare groove for listening or dancing.

‘A gritty rhythm section of old school drums and fender or upright bass, alongside funky hammond and rhodes, with some sweet George Benson-ish jazz guitar licks on top.’

The sound harks back to the 60’s and 70’s Californian West Coast jazzfunk music of artists such as Wes Montgomery and George Benson, whilst tipping its hat to some of today’s contemporaries (Soulive, Eddie Roberts & the New Mastersounds, Cookin on 3 Burners, Mattson 2, Frootful etc).

Emerging from the Brisbane music scene comes Lèsila, a 20 year old singer-songwriter with a melodic yet soulful sound that has been capturing the attention of listeners and industry alike. Combining elements of Neo-Soul, Jazz and RnB, Lèsila draws from her inspirations in Amy Winehouse, Snoh Aalegra, Sade and Lianne La Havas to continue to push the genre forward as a strong female voice.
