Dr. Thomas Mark Breadon, Jr. is a teacher, bassoonist, and composer living in Phoenix, Arizona. He is currently teaching Music Theory and Applied Bassoon at Glendale Community College, teaching bassoon lessons at Rosie’s House, a non-profit organization committed to strengthen community through music performance education, and maintaining a private instruction studio with students from all over the valley. 
Thomas plays with various ensembles in the Greater Phoenix area. He is a member of The Mill Ave Chamber Players, a Phoenix based woodwind quintet now entering it’s tenth season, and is the second chair bassoon position in the West Valley Symphony Orchestra.
As a composer, Thomas has written chamber music for a myriad of small ensembles and instrumentations. Most recently, his duets Lyddimy for bass clarinet and bassoon and Impressions for oboe and bassoon have been published by Imagine Music Publishing. 
Dr. Breadon completed his Doctorate of Musical Arts at Arizona State University in December of 2015 and holds Masters degrees in Bassoon performance and Music Theory from The University of Akron, as well as a Bachelors in Music Performance from Morehead State University.

The Mill Ave Chamber Players (MACP) is a professional chamber music ensemble based in Phoenix, Arizona, formed in 2007. MACP was a nominee for the 2016 City of Phoenix Mayor's Arts Awards, the 2017 Governor's Arts Awards and recognized at the 2017 Chamber Music America national conference for its work in community building.
