Hello my name is Alan Ballard. For years I've had a Soundcloud page using the name "GuitarzanntheFretters". I've decided I'm just gonna go by my real name from now on. So sorry to those old fans. But I can guarantee I'm  still the same artist. The only difference is the name. I thought it would be a good time to put the "Guitarzan n the Fretter's " name, to bed.  I write songs about what ever I'm thinking about. Could be a spiritual song or a love song, or a silly song, or just an instrumental piece. But whatever it is, My goal has always been the same and that is to make it to the best of my ability.  I grew up listening to a lot of different styles. So my influences include a vast  range from anywhere from Buck Owens and Roy Clark from the TV show Hee Haw, to Blue grass extraordinaires Doc Watson and  Bill Monroe, and Similar country / Bluegrass artists to artists and bands like  Pink Floyd,The Beatles,The Scorpions, Winger, Kiss, The Cars, Joe Satriani, Stevie Ray Vaughan, Stryper, White Lion, Van Halen, Warrant, Def Leppard . U2 , Depeche mode. and the list could go on and on. Those were just off the top of my head.
