Djup is a UK based Deep House DJ collective, based in Somerset, UK.

With a combined vinyl collection spanning all the way back from the classic Strictly Rhythm era, through to the era-defining Defected Records back catalogue, right through to the current-day deep house scene, Djup have a sixth-sense for the highest quality house music.

With over 30 years combined DJing experience, these guys were there before the internet, during the record shop era, and are still, now, continually digging for those killer cuts that make the night one to remember…

In addition to the DJing, Rob also produces under his own name, has had an album of  house music released, and his track Wash Away features on the Plastic City compilation Deep Train 5.




Together, front women Sam Acquaah and Jaheda, guitarist Louise Anderson, bassist Sarah Kerton & drummer Sophie Wozencraft form Ajah UK, an unsigned, independent and unique Hip-Hop/Rock act. The absence of a record label/manager, however, hasn't stopped this band of fierce women making a name for themselves across the UK and beyond. 

Ajah UK don't conform to the hetero-normative perceptions of women and take pride in this. Music gives each band member a voice and path to freedom and together as Ajah UK they will walk that path beyond all boundaries and limitations. What constitutes their live performances, therefore, is an epic and intense collaboration of words, music and entertainment that cuts the bullshit and represents everything they stand for as musicians and women.

Trans4mers have been playing out across the UK since 2006. We have held resident slots for Planet Breaks, Heal Festival & Fantazia. We have featured on the world famous Street Sounds Radio "5 Minutes of fire mix" and hold a monthly 2 hour slot on BreakFM. We are proud to have supported some great names over the years including Melle Mel & The Furious Five, Kurtis Blow, Jaguar Skills, Dj Yoda to name but a few. 

Trans4mers came 2nd place runners up in the world wide let's mix dj contest held by IDJ magazine. We have also been Nominated in the Best Dj category at the 2023 Shropshire Music Awards. 

We embrace Serato & Phase technology giving us the ability to play lots of classics in our set but we love to mash them up live - Pushing creative boundaries and bringing experimental mash ups to the dance floor. You never hear the same old thing as the last dj's played when we hit the stage. 

Super slick scratching and mixing has earned us props across the scene. We love dropping Old Skool Hip Hop, Nu Breaks, Jungle, 140 Breaks, Retro Electro, Drum&Bass and anything else we fancy... a bit of Frank Sinatra or Jefferson Airplane.. no problem! All sprayed with film samples, live loop mash ups and wacky sounds.
