DJ Stonedog’s career in the Entertainment Biz spans over a decade, having worked in both the Music and TV industries with big name stars like Chaka Khan, Ricki-Lee Coulter, Dannii Minogue, former Pussycat Doll Kaya Jones, Dutch pop star Jeronimo, UK's Bassmonkeys and PWL's Pete 'Mixmaster' Hammond. 

This talented music master also appeared regularly on Australia’s Channel [V], street reporting on Sydney's Gay nitelife scene for their hit show Club [V]. He is also the co-founder and Creative Director of Hong Kong's award-winning gay nightclub, Volume of which he is currently the Creative Director (FYI, Volume rebranded as FLM in 2016)


In November 2008, he released his debut single "Rainbows" (featuring Singaporean Pop icon Olynn Saleh on lead vocals) in HONG KONG and made National headlines as the first ever recorded release from a gay venue in the city's entire history. The successful single has become synonomous with Volume as its official anthem and is amongst the most requested tracks played at the venue. It also became the official song of Hong Kong's first Gay Pride festival in December 2008. The release includes the original Willie2400 World Pride Anthem Mix as well as mixes from Leon Chaplain &amp; Funk Avy. 

A follow-up single, "No I Won't" was released as a digital download single in May 2009 featuring remixes from legendary remixers Brian Cua and White Party (Palm Springs, CA) stalwart Casey Alva. 

Nov 2009 saw him write and produce the debut single for Hong Kong's first ever Drag Diva recording artist LA CHIQUITTA. The track, "Tranny in the House" made a big splash with the CD single including DJ Stonedog's original mix plus remixes from Matt Pop, Princess Ann, Genderfkkk & Jad Descenchanntee.

A year later, in Nov 2010 he released his debut album, in conjunction with Volume: CLUB ANTHEMS ASIA. He wrote and produced 21 of the 23 featured tracks and collaborated with Miami legend DJ OREN NIZRI and vocalist MELANIE ALEXANDER former bandmember of Aussie girlband 'Girlfriend' (who had a #1 hit with "Take It From Me") as well as dozens of new rising artists like ANDY JOSH LIM, KITTY FUNG, HOLLYWOOD ROAD, DAVID BOSLEY, GRETCHELL YANEZA, WENDY ROBIN, JOHANNES PONG and lots more.

The album signified the start of DJ Stonedog's record label VOLUME UP REOCRDS- the first 100% LGBT focused record label in Asia. The compilation is available in Hong Kong and Singapore with more territories to follow.

His 2012 single, "Big Gay Anthem" -original version from MATT POP (NL)-peaked at #4 on the HK iTunes Club/Dance chart, becoming his first official charting smash hit.

On the DJ'ing side, when he's not fronting his resident sets at FLM in Hong Kong, he regularly tours around the Asia region having played at prestigious queer Circuit parties like Red Ant's famed Hot Boyz mega-parties in China, Sweat (Bangkok), Lovemachine (Kuala Lumpur), Taboo (Singapore), Deportivo (Ibiza), Nectar (Manila) and lots more proving he is a hotly sought after commodity on the dance music scene in Asia and beyond. 

Further back, as a founding member of ‘Cyberdelica’ Sydney’s famed Underground Events company, he not only helped create one of the most celebrity-studded and successful long-running underground club-warehouse brands during the peak of the techno-fuelled 90’s, but he has also won over 20 International Promax TV awards writing and producing for global Networks like FOX and Cartoon Network. 

He also recently finished a stint as stage manager and show director for Hong Kong's famed Pink Season's closing party "Out in the Open", headlined by the one and only Sinitta of 80's pop superstar and current X-Factor UK fame.

So that's it...

There comes a moment we need to assume it's over.
But life is like this, everything that has a beginning also has its ending. I'm looking back with gratitude, because every step I gave has brought me to where I am now, and I couldn't be happier with what I have today.

But every end of cycles also announces new beginnings and that's why I do it all with tranquility. I know nothing really ends today because I'm starting another stage of my career.

The project "Felipe Angel" really ended, but only to give space to other dreams, other projects and other inspirations. I'm not going to deactivate this profile, because I don't regret anything I did with that name, on the contrary, I'm ust proud of everything I've earned through it.

I'm not going to show up here anymore or update it, but I'm going to leave my last tracks for those who want to download them and remember other times.

Então é isso...

Chega um momento que a gente precisa assumir que acabou.
Mas a vida é assim, tudo que tem um início também tem seu final. Não olho pra trás com rancor e sim com gratidão, porque cada passo que eu dei me trouxe até onde estou agora, e não poderia estar mais feliz com o que tenho feito atualmente.

Mas todo fim de ciclo também anuncia recomeços e é por isso que faço isso tudo com tranquilidade. Sei que nada termina de verdade aqui, pois estou começando uma outra etapa da minha carreira.

O projeto "Felipe Angel" realmente acabou, mas somente pra dar espaço pra outros sonhos, outros projetos e outras inspirações. Não vou desativar esse perfil, até porque não me arrependo de nada que eu fiz com esse nome, pelo contrário, só orgulho de tudo que conquistei através dele.

Também não vou mais aparecer por aqui ou atualiza-lo, mas vou deixar meus últimos trabalhos pra quem quiser baixar e escutar e relembrar outros tempos. A partir de hoje, tudo novo de novo.

Así que eso es...

Llega un momento que tenemos que asumir que se acabó.
Pero la vida es así, todo lo que tiene un comienzo también tiene su final. No miro atrás con rencor y sí con gratitud, porque cada paso que di me trajo hasta donde estoy ahora, y no podría estar más feliz con lo que he hecho actualmente.

Pero cada fin de ciclo también anuncia nuevos comienzos y por eso hago todo esto con tranquilidad. Sé que nada termina de verdad aquí, porque estoy empezando otra etapa de mi carrera.

El proyecto "Felipe Angel" realmente terminó, pero sólo para dar espacio a otros sueños, otros proyectos y otras inspiraciones. No voy a desactivar ese perfil, porque no me arrepiento de nada que hice con ese nombre, al contrario, sólo estoy orgulloso de todo lo que he conseguido a través de él.
