DJ/Producer Dimuth K was quick to establish himself as a favourite in Sri Lanka's Electronic Music circuit, and has been at the forefront of inspiring a new generation of electronic music producers on the island.

Having played alongside the likes of Nick Warren, Jeremy Olander, Guy J, Guy Mantzur, Brian Cid, and Cid Inc, and with numerous releases on labels such as Sudbeat, Hope Recordings, Parquet, and Plattenbank, Dimuth K is known for his unique blend of emotionally uplifting House/Techno/Progressive grooves.

Lucky for us here in Canada, Dimuth K has relocated to Toronto. (He has even been seen larking about, live-streaming with our good friend, Tim Penner!).

We are honoured that Dimuth K accepted our invite to make us this guest mix, Institution 047: Dimuth K. We think you’ll agree with us that it turned out beautifully.

21CPH has come together with Flux Community and the community collaborators to deliver a podcast from a young DJ and producer from Córdoba, Argentina who has achieve worldwide achievements at the young age of 19.

Rocio Laurenza, Dj y productora de Buenos Aires, busca en cada mix transmitir una atmósfera única, con la expectativa de crear una sinergia con el público, presentando una selección musical contundente y versátil.

En el año 2017 comenzó su aprendizaje tomando clases de djing con Big Fabio en Escuela Sonica, introduciéndose en el amplio universo de la música electrónica. 

Influenciada por artistas como John Digweed, Sasha, Hernan Cattaneo, Nick Warren y Lee Burridge en sus sesiones convergen sonidos característicos del Progressive House, Deep House, Afro House, Melodic Techno, entre otros.

Se ha presentado en diversos eventos de música electrónica, compartiendo cabina con artistas como Cid Inc, Budakid, Marcelo Vasami, Nicolas Rada, Emi Galvan, Fernando Ferreyra, Sebastian Busto, Bodai, NAHS, Fabri Lopez, Nebula (AR), Figueras, Nico Szabo, entre otros. 

Rocío participó de importantes podcast nacionales e internacionales, como Electronic Groove en Español, Deeper Sounds, Weizen, Progressive House Argentina, Reset Beats (Costa Rica), Xerxes (Turquía), Introspective Showcase (EEUU), entre otros. 

Como productora, lanzó su primer EP en RYNTH en el año 2022, que contó con el support de artistas nacionales e internacionales y su canción “Quequén” fue seleccionada en el VA Best of Rynth 2022. 

En 2023, “Toxicless” su nuevo track próximo a lanzarse, ya cuenta con el early support de Hernan Cattaneo en Resident 612.

Biography
Ogawa spent his teenage years living in the metropolis of Tokyo and was engulfed by many forms of music protruding from every nooks. Originally interested in punk, new wave and hip-hop, it was not until Chicago House overwhelmed his heart and clubs began to appear in the early 80's, that he found his true calling for dance music and became a DJ.
Hailing from Nagoya, DJ Ogawa has been one of the pioneers of Nagoya's underground scene. In 2001, he began his own event called SMASH at Club Mago and after 12years of a solid reputation of high-quality music and world-class DJs, SMASH has become known across the country, and now favored by many guest DJs such as John Digweed, Hernan Cattaneo and Satoshi Tomiie.
Having a hectic schedule with residencies, even in the early days of his career, DJ Ogawa's true breakthrough came in 2008 when he took to production with studio partner Unic and released their first track "DEPARTURE". DJ Emma, known in Japan as the godfather of house went on to sign it to his label Nitelist Music, along with a remix by Sugirumn. Its instant success lead to it being ranked No.1 in Japan's Cisco's House Music Chart and with it being supported by a host of top DJ's at home and abroad, ended up selling out across the country and cemented his place as a producer in the dance music scene.
With a great start in the studio, Ogawa took to remixing tracks and furthered his success with adding his unique touch to Kaoru Inoue's "The Whisperer in Germination", which was featured on the compilation CD series "EMMA HOUSE", and Inner City Jam Orchestra's "Sakura", which was included on the "Live at Pacha" CD mixed by Sugirumn and DJ Emma released in Japan.
He has also continue with his own productions with Unic and released original tracks such as "SMASH" and "EXPLOSION", both of which have been huge hits on dance floors around the country and constantly played out by the likes of Hernan Cattaneo across the world. It is no wonder that the track "EXPLOSION", with its powerful bass and piano riffs was featured on Beatport's Progressive House Chart #9 in 2012.
Now, DJ Ogawa regularly plays all over Japan and has been booked at many legendary clubs such as WOMB, YELLOW, AgeHa,Origami. Overseas has seen him showcasing his flawless mixing skills and instinctive ability to work a crowd in many Asian countries like Hong Kong, Taiwan and this year, in South Korea for the infamous festival "UMF" or also known as "ULTRA MUSIC FESTIVAL ".
Recent his works are "AC2D" with UNIC from album"ACID CITY"/Nitelist Music and "AIR Alertness" from BASS WORKS RECORDINGS.
With over 25years in the industry, DJ Ogawa's passion has only intensified and looks forward to the journey ahead of creating new music and evolving with the ever changing music scene.

John Cosani, electronic music DJ and producer, was born in 1988 in Buenos Aires, Argentina. From an early age, his interest in music became evident, getting even stronger with time.

At the age of 12 he began his musical studies with piano lessons and later on, when he discovered house music, he fell in love with its eclectic and enveloping sound. At 16 years old, he began playing in small parties, setting a start point for his passion and his imminent career as a DJ.

His sound has been influenced by great artists such as Hernan Cattaneo, Nick Warren, John Digweed, Sasha, Danny Howells and many other scene exponents, also obtaining in his role as a producer, the support of many of them.

Among the labels on which his music was published, we find Sudbeat (Argentina), Movement Recording (Greece), Asymmetric (Tel Aviv), Baroque Records (UK) and Sound Avenue (Belgium), among others.

He managed to take his music to some of the main scenes of electronic music in the world, performing in countries such as Germany, Holland, Greece, Romania, Spain and Thailand. Having shared booth nationally and internationally with great artists such as Deep Mariano, Martin Garcia, Marcelo Vasami, Pole Folder, Mariano Mellino, Graziano Raffa, Silicone Soul, Darin Epsilon, Lonya and Facu Mohrr.

John Cosani’s radio show, CUBIK, is broadcast on Proton Radio on the fourth Tuesday of each month at 10.00 AM EST.
