One of the most loved names on the Australian dance music scene, Kasey Taylor made his mark DJing in his hometown of Melbourne before John Digweed scouted him in the mid-nineties to play at his infamous Bedrock night in London. That was the catalyst for Taylor to take his sound and production to a global audience, leading to international exposure and a permanent move to Europe to satiate the demands of his worldwide bookings.

Currently, he is the creative power behind no less than three record labels. That includes the highly revered Vapour Recordings, the 24-year old mainstay which is over 150 releases deep and the offshoot imprint eVapour8, which topped the Beatport charts at number 1 for 8 weeks with its very first release. The most recent addition to his portfolio is Lo-Fi 45, which has seen Kasey take on a mentor role to use his years of experience to identify, sign and nurture local Australian talent.

More recently Kasey is going through a resurgence, not only is he experiencing a personal and creative renaissance, but he has just completed a rebranding across the board. Vapour Recordings has just gone through a massive revamp which will include a new online portal, merchandise and more. That will also coincide with a release roster of new music that is already creating excitement with some of the scene’s biggest players.

We’ve had covid, we’ve had bushfires, we’ve had the lot, but we can now reset, look to the future and that future is set for one of Australia’s most popular dance music artists to introduce himself to a brand new generation of dance music connoisseurs, and re- introduce him to his loyal followers.

Contemporary Music Victoria Inc. (Music Victoria) is an independent, not-for-profit organisation and the state peak body for contemporary music.  It represents musicians, venues, music businesses and professionals, and music lovers across the contemporary Victorian music community.  Music Victoria provides advocacy on behalf of the music sector, actively supports the development of the Victorian music community, and celebrates and promotes Victorian music.

One year in after a decade long break, Aviatrix is back to bring you an intuitive ear for new, fresh, cutting-edge progressive sounds that span the genres of breaks, electro, house, techno and trance. Never one to shy away from incorporating a blend of sounds, her sets are a true fusion of forward thinking, underground music.

A regular on the local party circuit of Canada's East Coast as both a dj as well as the administrator of the local group AMP: Atlantic Melodic & Progressive, she has an affinity towards unrelenting growling basslines, dark and melancholic harmonies, and a predominance of staccatoesque percussive elements. Her tracks have a big room signature sound sure to encourage a hypnotic effect and drive a desire to dance.

Deckster discovered Dance Music in the late 80's, spoiled with the nearby existence of famous Dutch clubs like "Waakzaamheid", IT Amsterdam and Roxy.  He is addicted to music and plays several instruments, but never started playing the decks until mid 2020. His broad taste in music and search for out-of-ordinary tracks gives him a unique sound and vibe.

He is in the game just for fun, with a live set now and then or a session with friends to enjoy mutual skills and play personal favourites, new or classic. As music is tightly bond to atmosphere, place and time this varies from the most relaxed and chill sounds to some solid Techno beats!

Magnitude Recordings was started by Francesco Pico in 2005. The label quickly the gained international recognition in the tech house- and progressive house scenes, working with artists such as Ferreck Dawn, Malbetrieb, Alessandro Diga, Harold Heath, Camiel Daamen, Andreas Bergmann and Eelke Kleijn (as part of the Backroom Boyz, a joined effort between Francesco and Eelke) to name a few.

With Francesco Pico moving on to be a house hold name in the progressive house scene, working for labels such as Audio Therapy (Dave Seaman's imprint) and Global Underground, and releasing full length artist albums on Manual Music and Outside The Box Music, he struggled to find the time to run Magnitude Recordings and so the label ended in 2011.

But now, after a 7 year hiatus, Magnitude Recordings is making it's comeback into the scene as a joined effort between Manual Music and Francesco Pico!

I`m the DJ who has House and Electronic dance music from the late 1990s. It was initially popularized true my head since the mid-1990s. House music has been infused in mainstream pop and dance music worldwide all the way to Norway at that time.

After enjoying significant underground clubs from the early 1990-1997 in Norway!
My popularity quickly followed to start playing music in 1995, and it became a huge part of my life! 

Today, my goal and success are my secret floor fillers tunes to the audience, so everybody  
can move their feet and get the mood and groove on.

About:
‘EL1AX’ is the Techno/Progressive moniker of Elias Attumally, under which he produces deep progressive house, melodic techno and electronica. Hailing from Kerala (IN), Elias drew inspiration from legendary trance acts such as Above & Beyond, Paul van Dyk and Paul Oakenfold during his formative years as a music producer. In early 2010s, as a self-taught music producer, Elias used to produce Trance under the alias ‘Juvelis’ with which he got signed to the Trance/Progressive house imprint Intricate Records (Russia) in 2014 before taking a break from music.

After a 6-year hiatus, in 2020 Elias launched his new moniker 'EL1AX' having acquired a new love for the deeper side of electronic music. Drawing inspiration from techno/progressive maestros such as Guy J, Hernan Cattaneo, Laurent Garnier, John Digweed, Paul Kalkbrenner and Patrice Baumel (to name a few) Elias has carved his own unique sound that combines intricate percussive grooves with driving basslines and trippy organic elements.

In 2021, Elias made his debut on Praveen Achary's underground label Juicebox Music with his contribution to the ambient compilation 'Tales of Time: Ch.2' alongside some great artists in the progressive space. His track was supported and charted by GMJ in May 2021. Following this release, Elias debuted his 3-track EP 'Rainier' on Deersky's progressive imprint - Soundteller Records in late August which peaked at #15 in Beatport Progressive House Releases. The release received feedback / support from the likes of Paul Oakenfold, Enamour, Ziger, Praveen Achary and Savvas to name a few artists. As a DJ, Elias has had the opportunity to support artists such as Solarstone, Jody Wisternoff and Fatum in Seattle.
