The rāga saga is a series that acts as a cultural collectiva of our favourite artists from all over, Each raga is an array of melodic structures with musical motifs, considered in the Indian tradition to have the ability to "colour the mind" and affect the emotions of the audience and this journey (raga) comes from an old friend @estimua

Last night I had a piece of foreign matter in my foot that prevented me from sleeping. That was the reason why I sat down in the studio and played some music while I waited for the emergency doctors to open. Luckily I pressed the record button. Would have been a shame if I hadn't. And yeah, the foot is better again.

Welcome back to the Magician On Duty Journey Series!

On this edition we welcome arkadiusz. (@arkadiusz-dmytrow)

Since he first came into contact with the labels "Kompakt" and "Pampa" about 15 years ago, the variation of abstract techno and house music has captivated him and has never let him go. 

In the beginning only as a music consumer, dancer & blogger, he developed a passion for dj'ing in 2009. He puts a lot of emphasis on a mixture of nebulous wafting ambient and dark surfaces, along with rich and clear bass drums, clicking hi-hats, as well as dignified rhythm and tempo changes including some goosebumps moments.

Sometimes deep, sometimes rave, but still dark driving.

He is also the curator of the incredible @afterhour-sounds , where he showcases some of the finest underground music available.

About this journey :
"This is your last chance. After this, there is no turning back." Those famous words by Morpheus were the introduction to my set at Pandemonium III, Végétale Vendetta Edition 2022, but also, they offered much interaction with all the lovely creatures I met on that evening. The costume that I have been wearing (Neo) created many opportunities to discuss deep stuff with total strangers, all aware of the Matrix around us. All the organizers and crews involved in this party have shown the finest attention to every detail, to our  delightment. It was an honour for me to be part of this amazing event with my Cosmovision brothers and sisters... so I share this set with Love.

Mauritania Planes - Only For Lovers - Afro House Session

Milu Grutta (drums, piano, samples, electronics) bought his first computer in 1998. It immediately became a powerful tool to further his experimentations with sounds and to aid his musical discourse to develop and fully surface. Combining sampling and sound processing with a multitrack software, Milu Grutta creates imaginary landscapes, where harmony and rhythm interact freely. Recalling compositional procedures dear to the first pioneers of electronic music such as Luc Ferrari, Terry Riley, Steve Reich, K. H. Stockhousen, he plays with phasing effect, repetition, chance, granular synthesis and micro-editing to create textures and moods. The sampling library he uses is derived from his omni collection of 10000 vinyls and CDs, ranging from space age Jazz to contemporary classical to ethnographical documents from rural Sicily. After many years of excursions and research in the sonic sphere, he now uses moods and beats borrowed from the world of electronic dance music combined with strings and horns orchestrations, with the intention of bringing the listener (and the dancer) to a state of bliss.
