About MONSTAPOP: ⠀
MONSTAPOP also known as Hya Blak, is an artist from Montreal recognized for his Popping. He has won battles, such as Popping Dance Forever in Amsterdam. He has coached for Le Ballet Jazz of Montreal, worked with Cirque du Soleil, and Step Up. He is the founder of JOAT (Jack of All Trades) and is a major influence in Canada and across the world.

MONSTAPOP | BREAKTIME INTERVIEW EP. 1

Montreal-born and New York-based music artist Mimo reps Harlem and the 514 on the daily. Trained as a musician, actor and dancer, her work revolves around the tremendous powers of the body. When it comes to music, Lo-Fi vibes, flowing poetry, Neo-Soul—with an alternative R&B feel may be the closest terms to define her sound. Mimo’s style is essentially a blend of heartfelt music, reflecting her essence: something she casually calls “Street Jazz.” 
 
Her music has been featured in HXXTIC magazine, Downers club, HighClouds, and on EARMILK's The Slice playlist. "Papa Was" and "Harlem Flat" followed as singles from the 𝕾𝖙𝖗𝖊𝖊𝖙 𝕮𝖆𝖓𝖉𝖎𝖉 album, released in 2020. Mimo followed up that same year with her 4-song Shellshock. “An Introduction" is her newest single  and serves as a lead-up to the forthcoming EP called Mars Took Over.
