I wrote and recorded this song around February, I didn’t do anything with it and left it in the files. In this time started to hang out with Aylin and practice freestyling writing pronunciation etc. He helped me go farther and this song will always be remembered as one of my favorites. When I wrote this song all the lyrics and melodies just came to my head naturally. I always would show people this song when I told people I made music and their reactions were always positive. Purple dress has the most dreamy feel to it.It starts off with a girl who catches my attention. I envision a dance full of people but to me this girl was the only thing standing out. I ask my friend about her trying to build confidence and asking questions,he then tells me to go. To go find out who this person is, to go make a move.Then BAM! The beat drops and were dancing in the moment it felt like there’s nothing more important to me in the world than me and this person.This person? I don’t even know her name but her dress, that’s what stood out to me. Thats what caught my eye and created this moment(if you listen to the track I made a mimosa reference and that shi lowkey go hard) The everything felt, the way I felt as I was with her it didn’t feel like coincidence.Overall this song gives me a feeling of nostalgia or vibes of those moments that only happen every so often.
