I'm really happy to share with you the first single of my upcoming album. A million thanks to Stefán Örn @stebbi30000, the mastermind behind the production, most of the instruments and mix. Listen and feel free to share the song 🤍 I wrote the song and lyrics in 2017 after reading #metoo stories from countless women and seeing the hostile reaction in comment sections. People "shielding themselves from what's uneasy to see, instead of shielding the ones in need". Survivors, I hear you and stand with you.

This song is really dear to me. I wrote it as a secret wedding gift for a friend around three years ago when she got married in Amsterdam. I flew out and attended the wedding as a surprise and played the happy couple the song. Now it's been recorded and since this friend is a musicican too Sylvía Hlynsdóttir - I asked her to record trumpets on the song. Here is the result. Easy to choose is Sylvía's and Daniel's love story.
