I think no one has ever influenced my musical taste more than Roy Ayers. He is the true king of music. I know there are artists that are as good as he is or maybe even better but Roy reigns my world. Thank you maestro. Also, a friend of mine, and, a colleague, made an soulful mix of all different styles and made something fresh and spirited. Its the first track in this show by Xanadu. Also to close up my friend DJ Lubi Jovanovic from Leeds and one of the artists he recommends - Joe Tatton in the great acoustic smoking jazzy and bluesy number to rightly close this show with Ever Since the World Ended - to the next.

Double Geography is Duncan Thornley, one half of Weird Weather who have released EPs on Emotional Response, Going Good and their own Whip+Lash imprint, exploring sometimes hypnotic, sometimes abstract experimental tech-tronica. 

Double Geography, however, takes us deep into the undergrowth, into the world of plants. With tracks named after a variety of flora the music could loosely be described as laidback ‘balearic' . However, where much of that "genre" has spawned so much insipid, mediocre coffee table ‘lounge music', Double Geography has retained that crucial element of psychedelia.
