Salty Speakers is a music/art collective and record label from the Seacoast of NH. 

Salty Speakers was formed in 2013 as a way to promote and foster the growing scene of artists throughout the Seacoast and the rest of New England.  We’ve been able to host a bunch of shows and put on a ton of events over the past two years, resulting in a lot of amazing new friendships, bands, and inspiration.

Salty Speakers is for bands, artists, promoters, venues, and friends throughout coastal New England.  If you’re a punk, pop, folk, funk, rap, or whatever artist coming through New Hampshire, reach out – we’re here to help.

In ancient mythology, OGU emerges once FMU (the Freaky-Magical Universe) is violently overthrown by the forces of monopoly (WL 113). The Freaky-Magical Universe is populated by many gods, eternally in conflict. Where monotheistic fiction tells of a rebellious secession from the primordial One, Tasty describes the One initiating a war against the Many: “These were troubled times. There was war in the heavens as the One God attempted to exterminate or neutralize the Many Gods and establish an absolute seat of power. The priests were aligning themselves on one side or the other. Revolution was spreading up from the South, moving from the East and from the Western deserts”. (CCRU - Writinngs, 1997-2003).
