I'm super happy to include an updated 2024 polished & renewed version of my collab with Know Matter in my upcoming EP.

"Presenting 'Bouncy Tales'; the new four-track EP from Halfred, centered around the artist's whimsically cheerful sound. The opening track 'Slowctopus' is a bubbly halftime banger, sounding as oddly fun as a slimy sea creature moonwalking on the ocean bed, while 'Outta The Cave Man' takes the same tone and applies it to a pre-historic cabaret kind of setting. Snowons (VIP) is a polished rendition of Halfred's first contribution to Outtallectuals in 2015, upgraded for modern clarity, while Chuggington's heavier sound comes through the collaboration with producer, Know Matter. Overall, the EP's half-time / glitch DnB aura is crafted for light moments on dancefloors while maintaining the technical bass music production firmly in tact."

SNB067 comes to from Subdue, an exciting Liverpool based talent and brother of recent Skankandbass Introducing alumni Thread.   Despite being a relative newcomer, he has quickly developed his own take on the deeper side of drum & bass with releases on Soul Deep and Riddim Records.
